Hi All I recently purchased a luggage set from Le-Royal Suitcase and Luggage. The set was for three hard-case suitcases with included locking mechanism and standard 24 month warranty. I have had one trip to London with the medium size bag which ended in the bag falling apart. The handle tore off whilst carrying, the side of the bag split open (Noted that the bag was not overloaded), the bumpers have fallen off and the locking system does not work. I am very disappointed in the quality of the bag and had to resort to duck-taping the side of the bag to ensure that my luggage would be kept safe. I emailed Le-royale to institute the warranty (return or exchange) and have not heard back from them, despite numerous follow ups. Their phone number and facebook messenger does not work. Terrible quality and service!
To whom it may concern: I recently opened a Mr Price Money account and subsequently purchased a R10 000 L-Shape couch from Mr Price Home store in Northgate Johannesburg. I was advised on day of purchase that stock was available and the couch would be delivered for a fee of R300 to my home address within a period of 5-7 working days. I signed an agreement which speaks to this effect, thereby imposing an obligation on Mr Price to deliver under the stipulated time period. This purchase was made on the 8th August 2017. It has since been three weeks since my purchased to which I have received little to no communicate via email or sms. Upon calling Mr Price custom care line, I have been sent pillar to post between departments to eventually land up with Furniture Customer Care who advised me that there had been an internal issue and my delivery will only be arriving in the second week of September. I requested an email confirming this, but nothing ever arrived. Delivery in the second week of September 2017 would make it a 6 WEEK DELIVERY TIME, falling 5 WEEKS SHORT of the 5-7 day obligation. It is worth noting that I have since paid R3500 into my account and have still not received any email confirmation or assurance that the couch will in fact be arriving in the second week of September. I am appalled at the manner that this has been handle by the respective devisions and am infuriated that I have now gone 3 weeks without my order and still have to wait another 3. I have been charged (INCLUDING THE DELIVERY FEE) for this purchase and have even showed good faith by financially contributing other than what is on my account. I would at least expect some form of communication and compensation for my grievances which in turn would somewhat restore my faith in the brand. However, I have received neither.
