On the 14th of January my dad requested his repeat cancer meds as we were leaving for holiday in the Northern Cape. He was however advised that he cannot request a script within 24 days of the previous one. He was assured that medxpress was 100% capable of delivering the required meds anywhere in SA. We have for the last two days trying to source his cancer tablets, WITHOUT ANY SUCCESS and the tablets are running out. We also spoke to Southern RX. Neither medxpress or the latter are able to source and provide these meds. Needless to say he is beyond frustrated and furious as we are Very far from any pharmacy. the cancer tablet is called Abiratorone. How is it possible that they could play around with things like this. So now who is responsible to get these meds to us? Or does he go without and risk the cancer getting worse. As it is it has been a struggle to stabilize his count.
I placed an online order on the 23Nov. To date I have not received a delivery. Initially was suppose to be delivered within 3 to 5 days. I'm still waiting. No comms. Nothing. Call centre's are useless. I called them today. Someone answered and then nothing. Makro should follow suit with Takealot. They just as busy if not more. Yet professional and on time. Makro is useless. I will never support them again. This is the last. I won't even go to the store. How can it take a month... Or who knows how long. I am so angry. What makes it worse is that they do not supply regular updates.
We celebrated my birthday on the 28th July 2017 at Ramkietjie. The service was slow. The Buffet lunch was R175pp and absolutely horrific. I sent an email to complain and never got a response. What a sad situation. Many years ago it used to be a lovely venue. Today the kids area seems lovely but the food is terrible. The meat consist of bones and fat. With a price tag of R175 I would expect lamb beef and pork roast as options. The veg and salad on offer were pathetic too. All I can say is I will never go there again.
