HOLD OF "UNCLEARED" AMOUNT ON CREDIT CARD
Beware! After they deduct their payment off your card, they retain a "hold" or uncleared amount on your card for the original order amount plus 15%. I can understand the reasoning, but surely this "hold" should be released as soon as the delivered amount is deducted from the account. I've had a "hold" / uncleared amount on my card for more than 2 week! Phoned call centre without success.

Nando's Cape Gate - BAD food
Ordered full chicken with 2 wedges as sides from Nando's Cape Gate through MrD. Delivery service was good, but the food was the worst ever. The chicken was burnt to a crisp; the skin was pitch black and flaked off the chicken, and the meat was dry and stringy as if over microwaved. Even the wedges were dry and crumbly like reheated oven chips. The whole lot was inedible and went straight to the dustbin. I have photos which I wish I could publish on this site. I do not know how a takeout Restaurant can allow food like this to leave their store.

SUPPORTING AND INCLUDING THE RACIST STEVE HOFMEYR IN THEIR LINEUP
This known right wing racist has been banned from several local and international festivals and venues, with good reason. Now "Die Boer" Restaurant in Durbanville is planning to host this guy as one of their frontline acts to make a quick buck from his racist followers. Their normal progressive blues, rock, comedy, children's shows, combined with a great menu will be tarnished forever if they come out as "closet racists"
