In 2024 I ordered 10 school rain jackets from Dollie. I returned them because they were manufactured incorrectly with wrong side of fabric on the outside, poor workmanship etc. he promised to re make them, then refund me. And now that I am taking this further he is threatening me with his lawyer for defamation of character. And now refusing to refund me. I have had two of his clients message me because they were desperate for him to deliver on their orders for their running clubs.
I bought a bag on their online shop for R795 a year ago and I never received the order or refund.
Accout Query Good day we have had numerous problems wih this account. We renewed our adsl contract last year around August/September 2016. Our contract fell just short of R1000 with showmax and free telkom to telkom calls per month which was the normal amount that we had been paying for the previous adsl line. Unbeknownst to us Telkom started charging us almost R1400 per month... During one of the many telephonic desputes we were told that our adsl line was R1000 and we were paying R300 (approximately) for the free telkom to telkom calls per month. (We never agreed to this amount) I would like to see the contract we signed because we were misled. During one of our many telephonic complaints/conversations the operator told us that we were being charged contract fees etc. Which is normally included in the contract fee. Besides being sent from pillar to post between the billing department and sales we have had no satisfaction with Telkom. We then moved the line in March and waited almost 3 weeks for Telkom to come to our residence to connect us. In the meantime we had been paying R1200/R1300 a month which according to us was in excess. In April our account was suspended due to non payment. We thought we had paid enough from the excess payments to cover he month we skipped. So we waited for almost a month for adsl and we had to pay a reconnection fee. I also called sales and changed our adsl package to the Big deal which was R799 for 10 mbps which the sales person apparantly was changed. Last week we got a call from Telkom explaining why we have been having connectivity problems to which i call about daily. The explained to me that we are about 3.6 kilometers away from the exchange and that we cant get more than 4 mbps. And Telkom shouldn'tbe charging us for 8mbps. I would like to request a copy of our contract and all the "recorded" conversations we had with Telkom. We have been having problems with Telkom for months and I have had enough. I have had enough with being sent from pillar to post and no one is willing to help us. I am going to lay a formal complaint with Telkom and with the Consumer Council. Because we have been misled with our contract and our mobile account which was canelled and which we're still being billed for.
