As per my earlier review, the service was prompt, professional and fully disclosed.
Professional, full disclosure and promptservice. Still waiting for the App to photograph my vehicle, though.
When changing my bank account details, in August 2016, I noticed a debit order I was unaware of. I contacted the company in question and I was informed that Optivest provide a Brokers Service for my Medical Aid. I informed them that I did not ever request their service, and that to date i had never received any correspondence or advice from them. This billing was done over a seven year period. I requested immediate cancellation of their service and they continued, regardless of my written request, to bill me for their non-existent service. I have now closed this bank account, so that no further deductions can be done. I have asked in writing, that I be refunded for the years I was billed. To date I have had no response from Optivest.
During March 2014 Silver Solutions was contracted to completely refurbish my house roof. This work entailed lifting roof tiles, replacing damaged or rotten timber, replacing the plastic waterproofing material under the roof tiles, etc. The work carried a 2 year warranty, with the owner swearing on his spouses life, that he guarantees his work. He was paid in full for his services. Almost immediately we experienced roof leaks, ceiling damage etc. The company owner was contacted, over and over, to date ignored our please and requests for assistance. Promises of visits to inspect the damages are not kept. Our home insurance Bank refused to pay for recent storm damage, as they claim there is no evidence of maintenance having been done, regardless of the substantiating documentation.
I have been penalised for "Late joiner fees" fir seven years. Fedheath were supplied the substantiating documentation, several times, and every time, (when they acknowledge receipt of the correspondence) they have a different story or excuse not to refund me the tens of thousands of Rands I have been overcharged. I have met every criteria they have asked for, but all to no avail. When I terminated my membership, Fedhealth would not accept my termination period, regardless of my correspondence explaining in detail why I could not afford a two month termination period. I am now sued for over R7,000.00, but no acknowledgement of the monies R250,000.00 I am owed. Requests by myself for substantiating documentation for their claim, have yet to be met!
