Good day, I'm very angry and frustrated on how my TotalSport account was handled by MBD. In July I was sent a message giving me a discount on the money I owed for my TotalSport account. I took the offer and started paying. I was told that I should pay a certain amount in three months and It was then split into three installments. I then made the first installment, then second and these were within the agreed range. The last installment I went in to pay what I owed and I thought it will be around R900.00 because I paid extra on the first month. The consultant from the shop told me that I will not be able to close the account if I pay more than what is owed according to what he has on the screen. I was told to pay a specific amount then I left the store because I was told that I can't close the account on that day as the money takes few days to reflect on the system therefore we can't call the cancellations department. To my surprise, I received an email saying I'm owing the TotalSport account a month later. I then called in at TFG to understand what was going on and I was told to contact MBD. I did and the consultant I spoke to said she was working from home therefore couldn't transfer me to the team leader. I was told that the Team Leader will call me back. Till today I haven't heard from them. I received another sms about the outstanding amount. I called in and I asked to speak to someone senior. A lady by the name: Dineo Moeketsi told me that I should disregard titles as she will be able to help me. She then told me that I should take it up with the person who was helping me at the store and she can't do anything on her side. With such rudeness I will not pay the amount that I'm told I owe. I was advised to pay around R150 less and this is put on me?
I reside in East Rand but home is vaal so I was on Easter holidays. I visited United Meat & Chicken bought 5kg drumsticks on sale for R149.99 on the 31st of March 2018. As i was preparing the Sunday dinner with my family, i could taste a bad taste as i was taking my first bite. I then called ********** (Vereeniging branch) the following day and the guy told me that they can't assist as these are Franchises then gave me the office number that didn't even ring but he also gave me a cellphone number for the guys (Quinton) who works at the store in question and Quinton was protecting the store telling me that they never had complains before on the meat they sell. He refused to give me the owner/ manager's number. I asked my mother in law as I'm not around vaal to can report the matter in person and she was also told the same thing and they refused to assist her. I feel like this store has no respect for its customers if we are to get this kind of service for the money we are paying. I will not rest until they are exposed
