My TV was taken to be repaired on 17 May with the promise that it will be returned after a week. It has not been returned. I haven't heard from anyone at Teletech about my TV in weeks. This is very disappointing.
Whatever you do, don't take your TV to them!!! They promised to bring my TV back after a week but its been over 6 weeks! And nothing. They ignored my partner when he kept reaching out asking for the TV. The only way we get them to speak to us is by writing a review but the problem is that they keep deleting my reviews. I saw other negative reviews that they haven't also removed. Save yourself and take your TV somewhere else. Teletech will take your TV and never return it.
They disappeared with my TV and my deposit! They told me that my TV will take a week to get fixed if I pay the deposit, its been over 5 weeks. Whenever my partner and I reach out to them we get ignored. Whatsapp blue tick is the name of the game with teletech! After a month, I finally wrote a review last week. But the review got taken down. They promised my partner to bring the TV back by the end of the week but it's Sunday and the TV still isn't back. Do yourself a favor and take your TV somewhere else. You'll be upset and without a TV if your use teletech.
I called the electrician to come to my house and fix my TV. The first time they came, they couldn't fix the TV because they said that they didn't have the right parts. They took the TV and returned a few days later, it was still not repaired. They took the TV (17th May) saying that they would need to take the TV to their specialist for repairs and that if we paid the deposit, the TV would be back after a week. It has been over 4 weeks (19th June). My partner and I call and text them almost everyday. Its gotten to a point where they don't even respond to us. These guys are just scammers that lie and dissappear with peoples tv's, do not use them, please.
I bought my car on the 2nd of September which was the same day I started my insurance with Oakhurst. On the 14th I was involved in 3 car pile-up car accident whereby one of the people that hit me (and caused the most damage) drove away. I spoke to a consultant who lodged my claim. It took the insurance company 3 working days to collect my car for a quote. After that, it took them another 2 weeks to get the quote for the damages to my car. This was after I had called them everyday for a week requesting the status of my claim and demanding that they return my car. They refused to return my car until the quote was finalised and they had many excuses as to why they quote took long such as the accident was a 3-car pileup and therefore the claim would take longer to process and that the assessor made mistake with my claim and the mistake had to be rectified. After finally getting the claim, the company then multiplied my excess by 3 times because I am under the age of 30 and I was claiming within the first 6 months of starting my policy. None of which I was told about when starting the policy and none of which I read in my policy. I decided to cancel the claim and get my car fixed on my own as they already took long to process my claim and the difference between the excess and the quoted amount was very little. They cancelled the claim before returning my car and therefore refused to return my car so I had to make time to go and collect my car. Furthermore, it turns out they they did not take my car to an approved BMW panel beater and the quoted amount from a BMW panel beater far exceeded the quote that I was told by them over the phone. I then sent an email asking what the process would be to cancel my insurance with Oakhurst and they did not respond. However, a week after debiting the October premium, they sent me an SMS saying that my insurance policy has been cancelled. I was not even partially reimbursed for my policy being cancelled so soon in the month and as it stands, I have paid insurance for 2 companies for one vehicle. I have never been so disappointed and I hope that someone else learns from this and does not join this insurance company!
