I have had my second bad experience with returns at Miniso. 1. I received a gift and thus had no till slip. They refused to exchange or offer a gift card in exchange for the goods. 2. I misplaced my till slip and wanted to return marked and sealed items. They refused to refund me, exchange the items or give me a gift card. Citing that it was their store policy to only do exchanges or returns with a till slip. When I asked if they could retrieve the till slip from 2 days prior from the system, they denied being able to do this. I also requested the number for head office and they refused to provide it. I will never shop at Miniso again. Not only can you not return gift items, you cannot return items that were purchased. Be warned that if you don't have a till slip, you're stuck with your stuff
This whole scenario started with ordering the S8 and J5 Prime combo as shown in their September magazine. I was not yet due for an upgrade but was told that it could be done through the upgrades department. This happened two weeks before this complaint was written. After two weeks of calling in about order confirmations, the package finally arrived. It contained ONLY the S8 (which was the wrong colour) and lacked the new sim card and the J5 Prime. After calling in to find out what was going on, I was told that the J5 could not be sent. They offered data as compensation but this was obviously nowhere near the value. In summary, absolutely pathetic service and will definitely not ever do business with Vodacom again.
