Come on Pick n Pay. If you really want to rutn your fortunes around, stop the nonsensical price difference between in shop purchases and ASAP. I plan my shopping for ingredients after I have compared prices on the various retailers delivery apps. My enthusiasm for the shopping round was destroyed when I discovered at the till that the price of a product I saw on the ASAP app is not valid in store. I realise you are trying to get more customers to use ASAP but please don't discrimate to in store customers like me.
RDK Woodworking was quick to react and provided a great solution to my idea. Communication was always friendly and professional. They are the well done wizards!
December 2020 marked my decision to downsize my living - home, possessions, etc. Consequently, I started to look for a smaller abode, making several appointments to view apartments. My experience: Estate agents, in general, don't know about service. Of the six estate agents that I have met, only one, Nadia Wallett, the principal of Wallett & Finch displayed real enthusiasm, thinking laterally in trying to find an apartment that will suit my needs. I have requested valuations of my current house from three different estate agents. Once again, Nadia Wallett, shone brightly. She was the only one to provide a valuation of my current property. This company is enthusiastic, energetic and trustworthy. Forget about the big names in the real estate industry. The smaller agencies are hunger to help. Thank you Nadia. Wallett & Finch ROCKS.
Everytime I need to visit my local hardware store, I face the danger of exposure to the deadly Covid virus. As a 63-year old man, I carry three targets on my back - old age, lung sensitivity and congestive heart failure. Walking to the hardware store/café or pharmacy, I have to zig-zag my way through the myriad of food deliverers and their motorcycles on the sidewalks, waiting to pick up food for deliveries from KFC and a virtual kitchen on the corner of Buitenkant amd Mill Street in Gardens, Cape Town. There is no sign of social distancing and the majority are not wearing masks. The delicery people are from UberEats and MdD. I once confronted a delivery man who parked his motorcycle slap bang in the middle of the sidewalk. When I pointed it out to them that the sidewalk is for pedestrians. Secondly, should they deliver food to one's house, the insist that the customer wear a mask and sanitse their hands before handing over the food parcel. I said this is bulldust (actually a bit stronger). The burly man who looked like a foreigner the replied: Bulldust yourself. The time has come to speak out. I seldom order food in. If I do it is mainly due to not feeling well. I call on all South Africans to bring this to the attention of UberEats and MrD. I these moneymaking companies cannot control their delivery drivers, they must be prohibited to do deliveries during normal business hours. Secondly, never pay a tip to these drivers until the relevant companies can prove that their drivers are always strictly adhere to Covid-19 regulations. I hardly go out from my house but when I need to do so, I don't want to be confronted by carelees food delivery people who have no respect for other people's lives. Ban food deliveries by these two companies during normal business hours. They can still earn their reckless living between 17:00 and 21:00. I would also like to know how fellow-Hellopeter followers think. Many thanks
Following a website enquiry on a custom sized bed, Sandy Coetzee, responded super swiftly with the information needed -something that is very scarce in cyber space. When I informed her that the product price was exorbitant, she immediately followed up with alternatives, plus highlighting the pros and cons of the various products. This excellence is rare in SA when one submit enquiries via a website. Well done.
