Delta Airlines really don’t give a ****. Flew from Atlanta to Johannesburg on 27 November 2024 having booked our seats many months before flying so that my wife and 2 daughters could sit together in a row. The day before flight Delta reallocated ourseats and we were split up. I need to add that I’m a tall guy and always book an aisle seat to get in and out easily. In there infinite wisdom they gave us a window and middle seat together, then another in the middle of the middle 3 seats and another middle seat a few rows forward. I immediately contacted them via their messaging service and after 15 minutes of communicating with an agent she said she couldn’t help and I should speak to the gate agent. On the morning of our flight I again called their 800 number and again was told their error would be fixed by the gate agent just before boarding. Then at baggage drop I again queried this and the lady said the gate agent will fix this. I approached David at the gate to ask for help and he started off with a seriously poor attitude and said he couldn’t and wouldn’t do anything. When I expressed my dissatisfaction he basically threatened to pull us off the plane if I didn’t move away. I continued to express my frustration and his attitude got worse. At no point did he even check on their system if he could put us back in our previously booked seats despite me showing him my confirmation email. His answer was that all other Delta staff had been lying and had passed the problem onto the gate and he wouldn’t and couldn’t fix their mistake. We ended up flying in these ****py seats and the flight was not much better. The food was **********, toilets were always dirty, the onboard staff had poor service attitudes. Overall I’d give Delta 1 out of 10 for this flight. If you can avoid them I’d recommend it!!!!
Makro South Africa: Makro after sales is a joke! We took an extended warranty on an LG 17kg top loader washing machine . We have had the machine since 2021(no problems) and the warranty lasts until 2026. On Wednesday last week the machine stopped working. Needless to say it’s Monday and I still don’t have a date when someone is coming to look at it - let alone fix it. I bet if it wasn’t under warranty someone would have been here last week. NEVER take an extended warranty from Makro. Once they have your money they are in no hurry to fix your machine. LG told me they could have already had it repaired !
Simple and easy to book. Great friendly staff and the car was nice and new - will be using them only going forward.
This company has taken a R6000 deposit 4 months ago and has now disappeared without sending me the goods. They refuse to reply to email and don't take calls on their phones website details : http://www.verticalplantscapes.co.za/ A real bunch of lying thieves.
**** Gibbons (resides in South Africa and was a partner in GIBB Steel) and Chris Ho (resides in China) sold me a roll-forming machine at a cost of around US$ 30 000. having paid up-front and in full the machine was eventually delivered months late. On opening the container the machine had come loose during shipping and was badly damaged. Pictures were taken and sent to these two gentlemen and they assured me it would be rectified. almost a year later nothing has been done. On top of this I purchased another tool for this machine at a cost of several thousand US dollars and have still not received the tool. Both these gents are liars of the highest accord and people should not buy anything from them.
