My watch and sunglasses got stolen from my handbag, the value of the original PRADA sunglasses is R4200 and the fossil watch of R2999. Hollard wants to replace my watch with a cheapie of R1300 and the sunglasses at R2200?, needless to say, if I enter the model number of the sunglasses on Prada's website, nothing comes up? Don't give me cheap stuff/ fake stuff!! I am going to take this to the ombud. and the audacity to replace my almost R5000 sunglasses with fakes? Are you joking? Sorry, I will NOT accept it!
I HAVE SENT NUMEROUS EMAILS TO NUMEROUS PEOPLE FROM MTN ABOUT THIS "EFFING" NASHUA ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!!! GOD HELP ME 'COZ I DO NOT KNOW ANYMORE! THIS ACCOUNT IS NIL AND VOID AS PER MTN WHO TOOK OVER THE NASHUA ACCOUNTS BACK THEN- I HAVE BEEN ASKING TO CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT FOR LITERALLY YEARS NOW. I DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT TO SAY........ HONESTLY I DONT. I CAN'T EVEN COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SERVICE 'COZ THERE IS NONE.
I keep getting phone calls from this company, threatening me that a letter will be delivered to me at my workplace and to my "boss", because of a private facebook message that was sent to a acquaintance. Also asking me if I don't have any shame ect. Is this a proper professional company, as it seems they have incompetent people working there?
My car has been in for repairs for an extremely long time now. I was caught in the middle of the Hail storm- wreaking havoc in it's path only to find out TODAY that the assessor Chris Boaz from HOLLARD does not THINK that the hail storm could have also caused some scratches to my vehicle! BWHAHAHAHAHA nice one Chris!! did you know that people DIED in the storm/tornado on the 10th of OCTOBER? and you do not THINK that it could have caused scratches/dents/damage to my vehicle? Just to understand you correctly? Powerful winds that uprooted trees, pieces of material flying through the air can not cause scratches to my BRAND NEW vehicle? (6000KM on the clock?) I am going to fetch my vehicle TODAY from VDS panelbeaters, whether my car is ready or not. I am NOT waiting another day longer. You can go do your investigations about the 10th of October and we can proceed with this claim in 2018 again. I am not going to wait ANY longer. Be sure that the ombud will hear about this!
On Monday 30 October 2017, I explained to my broker that my phone is damaged and I needed a new phone asap as I have a 5 year old in day care and I work from my phone. They advised me to buy a new phone and that HOLLARD would do a “cash in lieu” on the insured value of the phone. I now had to contact Hollard direct where the claims consultant advised me of the claim number (for the first time) and also that a damage report was needed as apparently if the phone is repairable, they will not pay the full amount I spent on the new phone?????????? THIS IS NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD. This claim is SO little and I am not happy, I had to be transferred to 5 people when I contacted Hollard. My phone is insured for R11’300 and I spent about R8000 on a new phone. I want to be put in the same financial position that I was before the claim occurred as this is what I pay a premium for? I am not going to hesitate to take this issue further!
