We received the new sim card modem from Talkom and within 2 days it didn't work. After a lot of messaging back and forth during lockdown I dropped it off at Canal Walk branch. They phoned today to advise we damaged it, it is not under warranty and therefore cannot be repaired or replaced. I cannot get through to the lady that phoned that it was obviously damaged in transit to our home and has never worked properly. I now have no modem, yet am charged full price for a modem that arrived with me in a damaged condition. Disgusted at this service. How can I be to blame for a damaged modem Talkom sent me?
I really wish we could give DebbiE Whitworth of Irene Porter in Simonstown a -5 on her service and professionalism. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional agent. She took 15 days to respond to the email we were moving, she asked us to give her the keys soonest, even though it was lockdown and we could not move. She never once mentioned we had a full month in which to move, which she is now trying to take rental for. This is not the first time Debbie has acted unprofessionally. She has backdated rent every year she forgets to renew the lease. Now she is holding onto a double deposit, refusing to refund and it's been more than 14 days. Horrific. not recommended. DO NOT USE!!!
I purchased your High Definition Sunglasses in June, you get 2 pair in the box, a black and a tortoise shell. Within a few hours, the black pair broke at the magnet on the arm. I returned them to Checkers and they replaced them, but never gave me a new receipt. Guess what!! The black ones have barely been worn and they have broken int he exact same place, obviously a design flaw. I have tried to email you, phone you and even sent messages to your Facebook page. I am hoping this will get some response, they come with a 12 month warranty, maybe it should be longer, but what is going to be done about this. I want an answer!
