ABSA vehicle finance - huge disappointment.
I have been a loyal client of FNB for years, I decided to give ABSA a chance to do vehicle finance on a new car. What a disappointment, I should never have used ABSA vehicle finance. 1. ABSA pays the total price of the vehicle to the dealership after instructing me to pay the deposit directly to the dealership. 2. ABSA credit call centre calls me daily informing me my account is in arrears (The deposit amount) 3. ABSA credit call centre tell me to go visit a branch to rectify this… This was ABSA’s fault NOT mine. 4. The dealership pays the deposit back into my new ABSA account, I register the account for ABSA online banking to verify the payment and for future advance payments, I cannot login after successfully registered, AGAIN ABSA says I must go to a branch to rectify this! ABSA no-online banking is a huge disappointment, I will never advise anyone to use them.

ABSA National Deceased Estates - BAD service.
Being the administrator of an estate, I summited account closure requests for a deceased estate at ABSA and Capitec the same date. (Both savings accounts) Capitec finalized the request within 30 days from date summited, 60 days later and ABSA National Deceased Estates call center have only one update "We have a Backlog, Sorry".

Real "No mess, no fuss" experience
Food was prepared in time, food was served on time and food was presentable and tasty. To top it all, no dishes and cleanup afterwards, all managed well by Lekker Spitbraai staff.

Not recommended anymore.
Rhino pools refinished my pool fiberglass lining in June 2018 and delivered a satisfactory product. They were the obvious choice to do minor maintenance and install solar heating panels for the same pool in 2021. After Ryan’s team installed the solar heating panels, it was clear the panels created an air leak in the filtration system. Troubleshooting this issue, Ryan had the worst attitude pretending he is doing me a favour instead of performing the service I’m paying for. I only gave a 2-star rating instead of 1 because he eventually repaired the new pool solar heating he supplied & installed.

Do not use these people to repair or build your pool!
Our fiberglass pool started to drop top mosaic tiles , the original fiberglass bottom was still fine after 15 years of service. Got quotes from Penguin Pools Pretoria to do complete replacement of fiberglass lining and mosaic and gave them the job. After 1 year the fiberglass bottom started to lift in certain spots, now 3 years later, more that 50% of the fiberglass bottom lifted. Called Penguin Pretoria, being sent from pillar to post, no one reply's to communication. This will be my loss in the end, don't make the same mistake.
