DO NO BUY LENOVO AS PARTSERVE IS THE ONLY REPAIR CENTER
Whatever you do DO NOT BUY LENOVO, Partserve is the only repair & service center in Cape Town & it is honestly the worst service I have ever come across. I booked in my laptop last year 18.10.21 & for a protruding faulty charging port. They did the quote, which wasn't cheap at all, & they refused to continue with the job & give me an ETA until I do the payment, which I did immediately. Here I am 3months later & I still don't have a fixed laptop or ETA for my repair. Countless calls, countless emails, countless requests, only to be told 2months later that they can not find the part & have to now order it from another supplier & I have to pay an additional R300 & and to date i still have no ETA. I just don't understand how you quote & make a customer pay when you don't have the part in stock or have at the very least a definite ETA. I am very disappointed & will never buy another Lenovo again as Partserve is unfortunately the only repair/service center for them & this is not my first incident of this nature with them.

DO NOT DEAL WITH CAFE2GO
I would never recommend for anyone to buy into this business. Jan & Mark sells a great concept BUT they DO NOT deliver. We were sold 'predictions' which, within the first week, we could see weren't the truth. I never dealt with either Jan or Mark for the negotiation or purchase of the franchise of 50 Long Street, as my partner did most of those meetings, but from the very first time I personally met them I told my partner that there was something off about these two........we very soon found out that I wasn't wrong. We were done in from the start. We never received the stock & equipment as per the purchase agreement, we received some eventually little bits by little bits, but not anything close to what the contract stated. We sat without as much as a cup for the first three months that we traded & had to serve customers out of take away cups, which we had to purchase out of our own pockets. Later we found out we did not own the machine, which it clearly stated on the purchase agreement we did, the machine, we later found out was on a Hire Purchase in Head Office name. After a few months of disputing stock & equipment Jan eventually came with his own calculations, scribbled down on a paper, of stuff he recons were never taken into consideration & started walking around in the shop deducting rand value on stuff that were already there upon takeover & included in the purchase price, yet deducted it again in lieu of the espresso machine which also was part of the purchase agreement.....needless to say we eventually gave up the fight & had to rent a machine because of the pickle we were in. None the less, after this meeting, I told my partner that I sense that the company is in trouble & that something just feels amiss, not very long after that we sold back to Head Office at a severely reduced rate (which we later found out was their modes operandi, then they resell the same shop over & over again at the normal rates) which they offered us & they offered to pay it off over a few months. We waited for months & nothing was paid. We eventually got a lawyer involved & saw some movement. Not long after that we were informed of their alleged (because they are still fully operational) Liquidation & that no suppliers would be paid. Some people lost their entire fortune, their life savings that they had put into Cafe2go & lost it ALL. Thankfully we saw the snake in the grass early & pulled out on time & at least got some of our money back. To date they still owe us money on the already & severely reduced rate at which we sold it back to them. We now have to pay the liquidators to get that money back, which may end up costing us more than they actually owe us, so we have let it go. All & all we have lost more than 100k & that doesn't even begin to factor in the lawyers costs, the loss in equipment & stock we never received, nor the time spent & lost. I would never recommend for anyone to buy a Cafe2go franchise & deal with Jan & Mark. Their dealings are shoddy & they DO NOT deliver in the least bit. You WILL lose money that is a guarantee!!! I can give you a list of people that have lost money by dealing with these two.
