Webuycars still in contravention of the National consumer protection act despite the NCC ruling that found them guilty of violating consumer rights. I bought a car from webuycars on the 18th December 2025 and I picked up some issues with the car the same day and the following day I reported the problem. Instead of taking swift action to adress the issue they let the matter drag into 2026. Upon doing their own verification they came to the same conclusion that there really was an issue with the car. Despite claiming that if there are any breakdown of a car within six months of a purchase they will repair mine broke down the same day yet they refuse to be liable for repairs, and they are stating the high cost of repairs as an excuse. Even when they ask what is the desirable outcome from you as a client they aren't genuine with that question bottom line is they just won't pay for any repairs like in my case. I went to great lengths to get the car from them even app**** for vehicle financing now I'm being told it's better the deal be canceled, what about the monies I used to collect the car from their P.E branch? The monies paid for licensing and registration? The installments already paid to the bank? Insurance coverage? Well the answer is they would rather a client be on the losing side and not them as a business, to them it's money over ethical business practices and client satisfaction. The distress caused to me by webuycars is unforgettable and unforgivable.
Webuycars customer care has very dishonest agents working there they lie to cover their seniors. I have been calling them for an entire 6 days about 3-4 times constantly and with each call I make I am told the lines are busy as soon as the next available agent is free I'll receive a call back and it hasn't been happening. These calls are a follow-up on a matter I raised in December 2025 which is being blatantly ignored, the matter is concerning a lemon disguised as a car which I bought from them wherein which the condition report had some very crucial information deliberately omitted to hide any defects and or faults. Throughout this entire ordeal I've come to a realization that the company is full of very ************ people working for them and they all cover each other to protect their bread and butter at the expense of disgruntled customers no matter the cost.
Standard bank key west branch has very poor customer service. We are a social club that saves money throughout the year to distribute the savings at the beginning of the new year, in 2025 at the beginning of the year we went to standard bank key west to do a withdrawal and we were charged more than R 2 500 for the transaction because it was said that we did not give the bank prior notice. Then on the 5th of December 2025 the signatories of the club went to the bank to notify them that on the 5th of January 2026 we will be needing to make a withdrawal this we did to avoid incurring the charges we had incurred previously but the signatories were told there is no need for a notice the money will be released even without notice. Today it's the 5th of January 2026 we are currently at the bank and we are now being told our account will be charged I the region of R 8000 plus for the transaction because there was no 24hr notice given to the bank that there will be such a withdrawal. We are being ****** day light by the bank for lack of knowledge of their tellers this is unfair and we will be taking our business to a different bank that values our business and is honest and has respect for clients.
Never buy a car from a guy called Arno Lotter from webuycars P.E branch he is a dishonest sales representative. Few weeks prior to me buying a Jeep Wrangler from them he said since I'll be using bank financing for the purchase he'll have the car looked into and have all items that need attention fixed, and he pointed out that 2 tyres and a tyre pressure sensor as well as the battery and claimed all these needed replacing. The tyres do look in good condition whether they were truly changed or have always been on the car and in good condition is another story because I wasn't shown the invoice as proof. The battery which he claimed needed replacing was never changed it's the same one that was always there I know this because I have before pictures of the car advert which I took screenshots of and there was no invoice of the new battery shown or given to me either. As for the tyre pressure sensor still I don't know if it was indeed changed or not because he told me the check tyre pressure light stays on because the repairs shop couldn't reset it though they had put in a new sensor, which is pure lies because he didn't disclose to me that the car has defective brakes and the break discs are worn out needing replacement hence the light stays illuminated. I also noticed after I pulled up at a filling station for a pit stop that the handbrake on the car is insufficient because when I had the car parked on an incline spot it rolled back unless the gear was on park mode. This defective break system posed a safety risk to my life since I drove the car From P.E to Jhb there was a chance I could have experienced brake failure while on the road because the wear on the discs is so severe when I pulled out of my garage I could hear a grinding noise I then visually inspected the discs and ran my finger to feel and it is terribly uneven. I then called Arno to inform him and he pretended not to know, and suggested I go to tyremart for confirmation since I can't visually inspect and also feel the discs with a finger and conclude they're in bad condition, which I did though I didn't go to tyremart but a different reputable break repair center and it was indeed confirmed the discs and pads are so servely worn out it's dangerous and damaging to the calipers to drive the car. Which I told Arno and he said he we let his manager know and get back to me , today I sent him a message to find out how far it went with his manager and he ignored me. And his silence is so deafening for someone who was breathing down my neck to have me buy from them. But I'm not surprised since this sums up how dishonest he is hence he **** about the illuminated tyre pressure light and also why he didn't offer me a test drive of the car because he knew I'd pick up the breaking system faults.
Absa Vehicle Finance call center workers don't know how to do their job! I happened to skip 1 month's debit order due to financial setbacks and made an arrangement to pay the installment over 2 weeks via EFT which I did and one of the payments isn't reflecting on their side due to a wrong ref number. They keep calling I keep telling them I paid and have up to so far sent multiple emails with POP now they tell me if the POP is an attachment they can't open it, are there no I.T guys working for ABSA to help with such? I can't be taking AVAF calls on a daily, that is a violation of my peace. Geez!!!!
Poor service by the staff at KFC Tambotie mall, Randfontein, I ordered a zinger box master meal at 18:06 on the 9/02/2024 only for them to package an all star box with a dry mini burger . And I can safely say it was a wrong order that somebody rejected hours ago judging by the discoloration of the lettuce in the burger so they decided to dump ot on me, I trustingly took the order, jumped into my car and drove away without checking the contents because I wouldn't even in my wildest dreams think I'd be given a wrong order. When I got home and opened the package it is then I realized I was ****** because even price wise the zinger box Master meal is more than the all star box master meal, so for anyone who doesn't know KFC Tambotie mall Randfontein is the pits.
I always receive excellent customer service and it is a wonderful experience for me to fill up at Shell Randfontein the staff is all round exceptional but a bigger thumbs up to Lawrence and Ismail they make you feel like family they are fast,friendly and helpful all the time.

As a resident of extension 4 in Mohlakeng I'm disappointed that since I've been reporting a sewer blockage at my house twice a week to the municipality for the past 2 weeks and they haven't dispatched their personnel to come and unblock,so much poor service delivery in that municipality.
