If I could, I would review at zero. One can't give one star if the company takes your money but doesn't provide the service. Complete scamsters. I've reported to Payfast and they opened a ticket, but no refund is forthcoming
Pick 'n Pay, Summerstrand must surely be the worst of the franchise's stores. Issues over the years are just too numerous to list. Today I purchased the Nestlé 5 for R42. The cashier scanned the Smarties at R10.99 each. I queried at the front counter and was told the promotion doesn't include Smarties. So back to the shelves I went to fetch the price indicator. She then (very reluctantly, and without apology) shouted for Portia to help out. I was eventually refunded R11. When I queried the amount and indicated that it should be R12.95, she again shouted for Portia. They then both wanted to argue with me, which is quite laughable as I am actually a lecturer in Mathematics. By this time the queue of other customers with issues had already built up to such an extent, that I just took the R11 and left. Your staff are rude, inefficient, uninformed and disrespectful!
I ordered 2 products online because there has been a gift promotion. When my parcel arrived there was no gift. I sent 2 emails to the customer service department to query the omission, but received no response. Finally, I decided to phone customer service only to be told that I had not selected the gift, hence they can't do anything about it. How can a reputable company decline an offer made by them? I selected the free sample, so I'm pretty confident that I selected the gift as well. I've really lost confidence in online ordering from Estée Lauder as a result of them not honouring their word.
I had serious ankle fusion surgery in March this year, and as a pick me up after 3 months of no weight bearing, my daughter treated me to a beautiful pair of Holsters. Alas, after only 5 months, the strap just broke clean off. I didn't have a receipt, but the packaging was still intact and as good as new. Am I unreasonable to expect a pair of shoes of nearly R1000 to only last 5 months? Apparently, they can't even be repaired.
