I have serviced 2 cars at CME - Centurion Motor Engineering and had the following bad experiences after I have spent more than R30 000 on repairs: • They made a dent in one of the doors, which they fixed but I was without a vehicle for more than a week • Had to take the one car back with problems with the repair they have done, again without a vehicle (now this problem is back again which will cost me another R7 500) • They lost one of the car mats and first refuse to replace it, then offered to manufacture one because of the cost R 1200 and it is now more than 3 months and they have not yet delivered on this promise All I can say they are not trust worthy and delivery poor services and repairs and I will not recommend for anyone to make use of their services
I am driving a Renault Scenic, but due to a poor design I had to replace my electronic key now for the third time with a cost of R3 088. Because I do not have a choice, only Renault can provide me with this key and I believe Renault thus see this as an opportunity to extort their customer because of this monopolistic control and dependency. This cost in my mind is totally unrealistic for a small electronic key, because of this absorbent price of over three thousand Rand, I can buy two decent kindles or a laptop. This was also not something they told me when I bought the Renault, and I want to make other people who may consider buying a Renault to be aware of this wrest.
