Standard bank Boksburg - I have been sitting in the queue inside the branch for 3 hours, no one is explaining to us why the service is so bad nor why things are so slow. People with 'appointments' walk past us and are helped before us whom have been queuing all morning. The emotional and physical strain is tremendous for all customers. Standard bank retrenched a significant portion of all employees and is yet struggling to meet basic service standards. I have been a faithful client of standard bank for years, since 2016 to date, yet standard bank has never offered me a loan, home finance nor vehicle finance. Besides that I have had to update my five details twice in the past 2 months where the banks had also blocked my account in this regard the 2nd time it was claimed that the bank misplaced my documents. What negligence. I am very dissatisfied with the service and have even begun to consider changing banks. How can one bank make it so difficult to use my own money.
I purchased a Chevrolet Spark from NTT Toyota on the 8th of February 2019. A week into owning the car I noticed that all 4 tyres had slow punctures as I would wake up in the morning to go to work and find that the tyre pressures had decreased significantly. The very same day I noticed that the petrol gauge was showing that the petrol was empty whereas the night before it was on full tank. By this I knew that there was something seriously wrong. On the 21st of February 2019, I emailed the salesman who sold me the car explaining the complaints I had regarding the car. He asked me to bring in the car the following day so that they could fix the car.I was advised that this would only take a few hours and Id have the car back same day. I then took the car in for repairs on the 22nd of February 2019 at 07:30am. On the 22nd of February 2019, I waited all day for him to call me so I could collect the car, of which when I finally got hold of him, he told me that they were struggling to fix the car and I wouldn't be able to get it back for another couple of days or so. I was 9 months pregnant when I bought the car and I explained that I was scared that I could go into labor at any moment and I would need to have a car handy just in case. He then provided me with a courtesy car, however this courtesy car had no fuel on it and it seemed as though the petrol light had been on for ages before I got it, hence I incurred another expense in that regard.I only got the chevrolet spark back on the 1st Of March 2019. When he brought the car back he said he thinks I will struggle with the car and I should consider trading it in and buying another car. He even brought a Corolla to my workplace with a drafted contract. I refused that offer because the installment amount was R1000 more than the 1 I was already paying and I was scared of being unable to afford my other expenses. I was however willing to trade it in and purchase another car. However the haste of it all was what alarmed me because even the finance lady emailed me on the 7th Of March requesting me to send her my latest payslip so that they could effect the trade. The trade was unsuccessful, and since then I have been struggling with the car. I haven't even received car mats for this car to date. When I would go to the branch to discuss these issues with him, he was never there and he became unreachable. Currently, the car has been making very loud noises of which I dont even know from where the noises are coming from. I emailed him to inform him of this, and all he advised was that I go to a chevrolet Spark dealer and get it diagnosed. This diagnosis costs R998, of which I had to pay, although I have less than 6 months owning this car. The car diagnosis showed multiple errors and that the car was not fit for sale, and is not safe to drive. I emailed the diagnosis report to NTT Toyota but to date they have not bothered to try and assist me. I have gone as far as reporting this case to MIOSA (Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa) but no help has been rendered to me. Should I first get into a car accident or worse, die in one before anyone can take me seriously. As a women these sales men take advantage of us and are not truthful. The car is now a liability and it is a greater burden than any other thing in my life. I am financed by Toyota finance to purchase this car but I have come to the realization that I was robbed. Please assist me by resolving this matter for me. I want a refund, they can take their s**** back and cancel their finance. Each day I drive to work in fear of what might happen to me
Arrived at linga longa to find that they had booked me and my husband into a tiny room with nothing but two miniature single beds with a tiny excuse for a basin in the corner. We were to share damaged dirty bath and toilet with other guests. These are totally decapitated. The 'lodge' is dirty and unhygienic with huge dogs running around, nevermind the kids. I called the manager to cancel. She told me that she was fully booked and wouldn't be able to refund me as she would have rented out the room to other guests had she known but she would call the directors and call me back. A few minutes later the help came to us and said he had just gotten of the phone with her and they would offer us an ensuit room for an additional amount of R210. From where because she said its fully booked? Well we felt pity for them and decided to stay the night. We did not sleep, the room had no ventilation and mosquitos everywhere. No fan. No airconditioning. Ontop of that one of the legs ofthe bed was broken so the bed is skew . The bed also has wires stabbing us while trying to sleep. So waking up with no sleep my husband tries to make tea and guess what, theres a kettle, no water in. Theres mugs but no s****. Theres no mini fridge either. This lodge is an utter joke and does not deserve the 3 stars it boasts about. The entire place is ridiculous and i would strongly advice people not to go there. The internet incorrectly advertises this place in Bela Bela. It is a rip off.
