I had the most horrible, dirty,disgraceful experience on 17th June 2025 at Fishaways in Sunninghill Square in Sunninghill. Not that I go there often. Thank Goodness, that will be the last anyway. As I was placing my orders I noticed the lady in the kitchen section picking her nose and low and behold after my order was placed, she took out the fish from the fridge with the ****ing same filthy hand and put on the frier, gosh I saw red and obviously blew a gasket. I requested my orders be canceled immediately and told the manager about the incident, if anything will be done or action taken, that will be unknown. Hence I only buy take aways from Nando's where I can see how my meals are prepared, yes hopefully the pre prep is done hygienically. Even when I sit in at Ocean Basket,I check how my meals are prepared but 95% of the time, I would rather have home cooked meals by my wife because I know the quality and cleanliness of what is going in my mouth. How pathetic for this disgraceful behavior. I know it may be unacceptable but this lady should be fired and not given a chance. Be careful where you buy cooked meals.
I was given a gift and also had the receipt for proof of purchase from Builders Warehouse, Rivonia however I didn't want the gift as I had no use for it and decided to return it to Builders within 3 days but only to be told that I cannot get a cash refund because their policy which was changed in 2021 states that returns will be credited to the way it was purchased, so if it was purchased on a credit card, it must be returned to the credit card. This policy is not advertised on the purchase slip for returns so how is the public supposed to know. Since 2021 and not updated, pathetic.Now I understand that but if you given as a gift, the person does not leave the credit card with you as well in case of returns.A sales manager, Eugene Maake was called by the staff in the returns office and I explained my problem but he point blank refused to assist and referred to the policy , I did tell him that the policy must not be displayed in their office only but must reflect and be visible to the public on the receipt. His resp was that they busy updating which is a bull**** story, almost 4 years down the line and only updating now and he as manager failed in my opinion to use his discretion or common sense which I think that he lack in order to attempt to assist as this is exception to the rules so surely they should have a plan in place to address my type of situation, but no, it's too easy to hide behind a policy and decline to refund, that's why have managers in place to handle exceptions other than the day to day operation. Very disappointing especially I am a regular customer at Builders Rivonia, you can get references of me from Hilton, Robert, Ralph ,Celia and many others in your store ..Be transparent and advertise your full returns policy on the till slip and not keep to yourself in an office These 2 items that I needed refund costs abou R800 which is a waste of money now, what am I to do with the products if Builders refuse to refund. The gift was given by a person that lives 100 km from Rivonia so do Builders expect him to come all the way with his credit card to do return, hence I say, no logic or common sense app**** by your so called sales manager, Eugene Maake
Being ********** for R350 , they downloaded a free app and charged that amount whereas another provider would have done at no cost as I have done before but went to this service provider to try them out, what a mistake, wouldn't recommend them nor will I go back to them no matter how desperate I am. Would rather travel the extra distance where I will get the service without being **********. I know business maybe a little slack but that's no reason for that ridiculous charge.
Went on Sunday, 12th August for Simply the Best show and it was as the title is. It was a mind blowing performance by the artists . Barnyard always presents spectacular performances, keep it up. See you soon
I purchased a product in April 2024, no full specifications of the product were advertised and when I received the product, it was unsuitable for my use. Would have been a health hazard. I returned the items and till this day I am battling to get my refund of R836. I have sent numerous emails and they keep feeding me bull**** that they are giving it attention and expediting with their accounts department, how long does it take to refund as they received the items back in good condition, unused so why not give my money back or are they getting short of finances .The other problem is that they don't take phone calls, only correspond by email or it might mean that I must drive to them to demand my money back, Unnecessary costs for diesel.
I had a query and communicated with Natasha M via email. Her response was speedy and she resolved my query within a few hours because she went the extra mile to give it the attention it required, must say I was very impressed because in these days, customer services at most companies stink. Natasha M you are a star, keep it up, My Runaway needs more like you to uphold their name and excellent reputation.
Same experience from this ****** as other people that reviewed already , ordered the hydro shield waterproofing , payed an arm and leg and you get 2 X 30 g bottles , you can't get hold of them telephonically on the number on site , say number does not exist , and they continue advertising on tik tok misinforming the public , some action must be taken soon before they de***** m0ore people .

I had water damage on 10th January 2024 due to a burst braided hose in the wash basin in my end suite causing flooding in my 2 bedrooms upstairs and my lounge, dining rooms, furniture etc. downstairs. Unfortunately, we were away for the day for about 13 hours so this happened in our absence . Anyway, I am Insured with Momentum, not sure if that is good or bad because they make use Digi call , a company that does assessment on building and possession damages on behalf of Momentum. This is where the initial problem starts because they then send out specialists depending on what the damages are, rightfully so . They then wait for all the various report to be submitted to them, they consolidate all the report, do so called analysis which is questionable because they even overlook critical items which they should have assessed. In my case they took more than 3 weeks to send in their final report to Momentum . They do costing which I don't know where they get such good prices from because I done some checks on my own from reputable suppliers and their price are more than what Digicall quotation is, Iwas tolod by a representative from momentum that it is market related , not sure if this is Chinese Market . so this is the first problem, under estimation if they recommend Momentum.to pay you out , you get paid short which doesn't cover your costs. The second severe issue is that Digicall has this way to allege that I am underinsured ( this is the second time in a few months they said that ) , what market figure they use , only they know but they use their own opinion/decision to assess your home which will automatically disfavor you as the insured so Momentum pays you out less due to they state that you underinsured by x percentage . I tried at nauseum to get hold of Momentum and when you eventually get though to their call Centre you can never speak to the same consultant that is put in charge of your claim,you leave messages for a call back , never get a call back , you ask to talk to a manager , never available and also doesn't return call which almost 4 week later caused me to drive to Centurion to their office to get answers because in the meantime we had to sleep here , there and everywhere because our room were inaccessible because the laminate floors swelled up and the beams cracked , but who cares , not insurance nor Digicall .I spent a lot on calls due to regular follow up because you never hear from Momentum or Digicall on the progress of your claim . I still have all calls recorded as evidence. Then Momentum sent out a plumbing company on the night of the 10th January 2024 who failed to sort out the initial problem but in the process damaged the 2 drain pipes and 5 weeks later i had to get a private company to repair because between Momentum and Digicall they were not interested to correct the resultant damage and I had to pay this out of my pocket so I sometimes don't know why we take out insurance , one thing for sure , well in my case they get paid their premiums on time without running around but when you have a claim which is out of your control then you get sent from pillar to post , is if fair or ethical . I have to cut my story short unfortunately but lastly its 2 months now and I still have not got explanation from Digicall on how they establish that I am underinsured but they don't tell you yearly when they do a premium update although I know it's the insured to make sure that you insured correctly and in my case I feel that I am insured sufficiently hence I need an explanation from Didgicall as to how can they say that I am 29% underinsured.
