I am beyond frustrated with Samsung's service. After sending my 65-inch TV for repair, it was returned to me with physical damage. I immediately reported this to Samsung, and they initially seemed helpful, but now I’ve been told that the warranty is void due to the damage, and my case has been closed. The damage was reported the day the TV came back from the service center, and it had only ever been moved from the store to the center. How can I be blamed for something that happened under their care? To make matters worse, the TV isn’t functioning as it should. The service I’ve received from the Voice of Customer department has been shocking—especially from Vaughn, who was dismissive and rude. This is a major purchase for my family, and to be treated like this is unacceptable. I’ve been told to take the matter to the ombudsman, but all I want is a working TV in the condition it was in when I sent it for repair. This experience has left me deeply disappointed in Samsung, and I would appreciate any advice or help.
I bought an Alfa 159 3.2 Q4 from KMGT, a very friendly sales man Mario, he assured me that their after sales service was good. I of course had my doubts. (as I am generally suspicious) They delivered the vehicle from George to me in Cape Town, And I instantly thought something was off with the vehicle and never got the chance to get it checked, after about three month I final had the chance to get the brakes checked. They were completely shot, after dealing with Mario and the sales manager they had it fixed with out to much fuss. (disks and pads on all four). (+-R8K) After this I thought let me get it in and properly checked. And found out the drive chain was needing to be replaced, I was quoted 80K to have this repaired. At this point they offered to have it repaired, to which i refused and took the complaint to the ombudsman. As I wanted to return the vehicle. Months past before the Ombudsman came back and told me that if KMGT offered to pay I should take it. Now outside my 6 months implied warranty and dealing with a manager named Elandre, even after dragging my feet KMGT paid around 60k to have the vehicle repaired. (my warranty covered the rest) After having the repair done I found the problems still existed so i took it back in and without skipping a beat Elandre again had further work carried out on my vehicle to the value of around a further 10k. I would just like to say thank you to KMGT. I was not an easy customer and they stayed calm and sorted out the problem, maybe not the perfect out come, but you hear about so many snakes out there and these guys looked after me and stood by what Mario said that they have an excellent after sales service. Thank you Mario, Elandre and KMGT
