service and ****mers Such an unfortunate bad service from Renault. I bought a car in 2023, a 2022 tribal model at Queenstown branch. After my third service in November 2024, I got a light indicating an engine fault later in November. I called and they booked me for 8th of January. In February I got the same light indicating the same problem. I called and they came to take the car in March to date. Renault is threatening to take my car to an auction if I do not go and take my car. How am I supposed to take a car that has an engine fault? That is not working and moving? I am stressed as Renault and Kempston are playing games regarding my car that they do not want to fix. Please help, the car still has a warranty of 5 years.

Gerrit from the George branch has really impressed me with his quick professional service. He is ahead of his game thinking of things that I would need or want to know before I can even ask. Well done, give that man a Bells.

I write this complaint as I feel very disappointed as a customer of Suzuki. This is my 2nd time Suzuki East London is trying to cheat me. A year ago my brake started making a noise. I took the car to Suzuki 5 times in the last one year. Each time they will say they will skim the brake pads but the noise won't stop . The last time I went they said they have to change the drum to stop the noise and gave me a quote for R5 350.00. Not convinced as my car is only 60 000 kms I decided to take it to another mechanic that my friend recommended to me. He checked the car and found a stone near the brake pad. He removed the stone and cleaned the dust, all for R500.00 and the noise has stopped!!!!! I bought this car, a Suzuki Swift Desire in May 2014. At that time I ordered for the optional mag wheels paying an extra R5 000.00. They said they don't have stock and when the mag wheels arrive they will phone me. After 2 weeks when I went to take delivery of my new car I was shocked to see that they have put aftermarket mags and 14 inch tyres instead of the 15 inch tyres which is the correct size for my car. Who in this world would NOT know that it should be a Suzuki fitting that should come on a Suzuki car? I had to write several complaints to get this sorted. Now what would have happened if an innocent client give in his car to change the drum as they had told? Would they have changed the drum? And to remove a stone do you have to pay R5 350.00? I have their quote with me still. And the joke is they were all insisting and giving me explanations as to why I should change the drum. The lady at the reception even wanted me to place an order. She says it has to be ordered.q

I bought an Alfa 159 3.2 Q4 from KMGT, a very friendly sales man Mario, he assured me that their after sales service was good. I of course had my doubts. (as I am generally suspicious) They delivered the vehicle from George to me in Cape Town, And I instantly thought something was off with the vehicle and never got the chance to get it checked, after about three month I final had the chance to get the brakes checked. They were completely shot, after dealing with Mario and the sales manager they had it fixed with out to much fuss. (disks and pads on all four). (+-R8K) After this I thought let me get it in and properly checked. And found out the drive chain was needing to be replaced, I was quoted 80K to have this repaired. At this point they offered to have it repaired, to which i refused and took the complaint to the ombudsman. As I wanted to return the vehicle. Months past before the Ombudsman came back and told me that if KMGT offered to pay I should take it. Now outside my 6 months implied warranty and dealing with a manager named Elandre, even after dragging my feet KMGT paid around 60k to have the vehicle repaired. (my warranty covered the rest) After having the repair done I found the problems still existed so i took it back in and without skipping a beat Elandre again had further work carried out on my vehicle to the value of around a further 10k. I would just like to say thank you to KMGT. I was not an easy customer and they stayed calm and sorted out the problem, maybe not the perfect out come, but you hear about so many snakes out there and these guys looked after me and stood by what Mario said that they have an excellent after sales service. Thank you Mario, Elandre and KMGT
