I tried to sort it out directly with @Home by sending an email to customerservicw@tfg.co.za, but it's been 10 days and I haven't received a response from them yet. Apparently they have no such thing as customer service. We brought a carpet on Saturday (10 October 2020) from @Home Sandton City. They didn’t have stock and arranged to get a carpet from Design Quarter. We paid R 5,999.00 for the carpet, but when we collect the carpet the price tag on the carpet was R 4,499.00. We asked the Sandton City Branch to give us a refund for the difference but apparently, they can't help us and therefor we decided to contact head office. We would appreciate it if someone can resolve our query and refund us the difference. It's daylight robbery.
It's impossible to close your credit card/ account with Discovery Bank. You have to phone the call center hold on for more than an hour, just so they can tell you someone will contact you. Wait 7 - 10 days that someone call you, just to tell them again you want to cancel your Credit Card. After I paid the outstanding amount of R35.00. Discovery vitality refund an amount for Healthy foods into my account. Discovery can email me to tell me the Case is closed and I have to do the whole process again, but can't email me to request my banking details for the refund. The make it impossible to close the account just to earn more fees. As per my previous email. It's ridiculous that Discovery Bank can send me an email to say the case is closed, but can't send an email requesting the banking details to refund the money. Now I have to phone again (hold on for an hour or more) to log another request to open a case to close the credit card. Wait more than a week for a consultant to call me back. Discovery bank is useless. I will be writing a review on HelloPeter about the terrible service. Discovery bank makes it impossible to close the account just to obtain more fees. I also haven't even received a response back on the email sent 9 days ago. Regards
Discovery Medical Aid is useless!!! They hide behind "Discovery Health Rates" to pay nothing. We were excited to be pregnant, but Discovery quickly placed a damper on our excitement. Discovery claims to give you all these benefits, until they have to pay. You get so many scans and tests etc. But on our first consultation with the Gynecologist including a scan it cost R1400.00 and Discovery only paid R 416.00. How can a scan & a doctor's consultation only cost R416.00? I understand that doctors ask more, but Discovery isn't even being realistic with their rates. They hide behind the terms that they use the " Discovery Health Rates", but they refuse to give you the rates even if you have the specific codes from the doctor. After the first scan we realised that it won't get better as all the other scans/delivery are even more expensive. We asked discovery how much they will pay for all the other scans/delivery, but we didn't get an answer. Just fancy terms that mean nothing. We just want to plan and know how much everything will cost us, but I guess I have to assume Discovery is going to pay for nothing in our budget. It's probable realistic. It's been 3 weeks since I cancelled my Discovery Credit Card and this has also not happened yet. The whole Group is just taking premiums for nothing.
I place a order on the 18th of October 2017 and paid the full amount. It's more than 3 months later and I still haven't received the chairs. They are ignoring my emails. phone calls and messages. This is the worst service I have ever received.
