Auric Auto's communication skills are woeful! There is simply no understanding of how to professionally engage with customers in a respectful and meaningful manner. I would strongly recommend prospective customer to stay well away and rather consider alternative manufacturers or dealers. As an i3 owner, you'd expect the service to meet the progressive nature of the vehicle - far from it! Going by this forum, they seem to have perfected the dark art of customer dissatisfaction.
I recently enquired about a classic Porsche for sale by this establishment. The web-site is absolutely archaic with no description or detailed photographs of the vehicles for sale, so submitted an e-mail request (via provided portal) for more information. After two weeks of not receiving any response, I ventured a call and was "greeted" by a person who barked at me "what I wanted" in broken English. Highlighting my needs, I was then passed to a Mr Dorfer, who mid-way through my introduction abruptly handed me onto another lackadaisical individual that clearly wanted to engage in matters alternative to imparting information related to a R2million classic Porsche. Needless to say that I made the decision to end my misery at this juncture. How these guys are able to make a living from "mis-representing" the integrity of classic Porsches, is beyond me. Visits to the Proctologist will in future be decidedly more pleasant, as I can use the Carrera Motors experience as an ongoing reference. so, if you're in the market for a classic Porsche, ignore these troglodytes and rather contact Crossley & Webb in Cape Town as these guys get that the purchase experience is as important as the vehicle itself. AVOID CARRERA MOTORS AT ALL COST!
