On the 20the of March I took 6 international tourist for a day outing to 2de Toll Camping site near Wellington.I consulted their Website the previous day and there were no indication that required me to make ant further enquiries. We arrived at their gate well before opening time.We stood around reading the notices on their information board. At 07h30, the workers manning the gate arrived, and walked past us ,we were 3 cars standing in the queue and ignored us completely. After waiting for 10 min we approached them and made them attentive that we wanted to pay to enter the premises for the day. During their cacophony one person managed to shout,"we are closed until April." They continued to enjoy themselves whilst continuing to ignore us without any explination. They did not even bother to speak to us whilst they saw us standing in the queue 🙄 Eventually someone arrived and confirmed that they are closed. Why it was not placed on their website he could not inform us.When we told his these was no sign indicating their closure,he informed us that they have ordered the signs. My guests were totally flabbergasted by the incompetence, and lack of the client care of Cape Nature workers towards the public. This was truly a disgusting and embarrassing display of employees of the government. No wonder we are referred to as a Banana republic. I doubt that I would ever visit this place, with their disgusting work ethic.
I recently visited Pick and Pay Goodwood, what a awfull experience i had from this *********** run store. I bought a few things and rushed to find a till point.I could not believe that at 11h00 in the morning there were only one till open to serve customers in the entire supermarket. One till point in a entire supermarket. There were about 10 customers ahead of me, all complaining. All we got from the Staff that was standing idle chatting away was unfriendly sneers and incoherent mumbling. Nobody tried to improve the situation,or offer any assistance, just stood around chatting very loud and having a jolly good time in working hours, some standing with their till float bags in their hands. They were supposed to have started work already but never mind the customers. The worst of all was that there were no manager in sight. The supervisors also joined the fray , partying with the lot, and ignoring the customers. This is an old problem with this store, and nobody cares. They lost me as a customer, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'd rather walk a hundred meters further to Shoprite for better service and customer care. Strange that into today's economic climate that a business can allow such putrid service delivery and chase away customers. It is no secret that these stores are battling most due to bad,bad service. These workers will be the first to complain if they loose their work if the business goes under. They will only get what the deserve.
My insured cell phone was recently ****** and I decided to visit Incredible connection at N1 City to buy a new one costing well over R10000 ..I found the phone I was looking for on their display without any assistance from the staff standing around talking and laughing and joking around.I eventually attracted the attention of one of the staff members who came leisurely strolling towards me, still talking to the group of friends.I explained to him that I wanted to buy the device and asked him if someone would be able to show me how to transfer my Dara from the one phone to the other. That will be another R300 he answered with a uninterested stern face, frequently turning around nor to miss out on the ongoing conversation.i declined the sale and started walking out of the store. He was unfazed and clearly not worried that his company was loosing money from their incompetence and poor customer care.A new cell phone shop close to them was only to happy to assist, and for my business. I won't be visiting them again.
