Why isn't there a 0 star? Anyway, sent mails countless times no feedback for requesting a full refund becuase of our stand not being ready for camp setup by 14:00 as advertised and according to their rules. Instead they had day visitors having a lekker potjie on our stand. Absolutely pathetic in the way of handling the situation and Absolutely no feedback, but you need to pay asap, but requesting a refund for their mistakes you can be sure to write off your money. You guy's are a joke and Absolutely pathetic.

Cape Nature cancelled my booking over 2 months ago and I am still waiting for the balance of my refund. I’ve called several times, emailed, sent proof of payment - all for nada. They suck!!!!!!

I am so impress with the standard of facilities, neatness & friendliness of staff at Cape Nature, that it is an privilege to visit them. I had the opportunity this year to visit Rocherpan, Kogelberg as well as Grootvadersbos. At Grootvadersbos we had a nasty experience with a big male ****** who became arrogant enough to even enter your premises while you are inside, and then to help himself with your foods. This was reported as a risk to the management, and in less than a month later, they gave me a full report on how the situation was managed: The problematic ****** has been successfully caught and relocated. Additionally, they have implemented longer ****** monitoring patrol hours to enhance safety measures within the area, and furthermore, their central office is in the process of preparing brochures to educate guests on how to handle similar situations and ensure their safety during their stay. This response was just next level and really appreciated. Thanks to Mogamat Saliem Amlay and team for excellent service. Altus Erasmus

On the 20the of March I took 6 international tourist for a day outing to 2de Toll Camping site near Wellington.I consulted their Website the previous day and there were no indication that required me to make ant further enquiries. We arrived at their gate well before opening time.We stood around reading the notices on their information board. At 07h30, the workers manning the gate arrived, and walked past us ,we were 3 cars standing in the queue and ignored us completely. After waiting for 10 min we approached them and made them attentive that we wanted to pay to enter the premises for the day. During their cacophony one person managed to shout,"we are closed until April." They continued to enjoy themselves whilst continuing to ignore us without any explination. They did not even bother to speak to us whilst they saw us standing in the queue 🙄 Eventually someone arrived and confirmed that they are closed. Why it was not placed on their website he could not inform us.When we told his these was no sign indicating their closure,he informed us that they have ordered the signs. My guests were totally flabbergasted by the incompetence, and lack of the client care of Cape Nature workers towards the public. This was truly a disgusting and embarrassing display of employees of the government. No wonder we are referred to as a Banana republic. I doubt that I would ever visit this place, with their disgusting work ethic.

Cape Nature platform is really frustrating. They take extremely long to answer phones. They redirect to the website for bookings, which I did,but received no confirmation of booking and had to go back to phone lines. Really frustrating. Going for the dogs lije most other government institutions??

I have literally had the worst experience booking through this company. What was meant to be a "bucket list" girl's weekend away turned into an absolute mess because of the terrible service from Cape Nature. 2 days before we were supposed to leave we were told that there was a "glitch" in their system and the the cottage could not accommodate 6 adults but only 4 adults and 2 kids. After many back and forth emails no one even attempted to call me, I sat for hours trying to get through to them on the telephone but was left with a recording that went on and on and on each time. Tamsyn Wakefield and Rose (no surname) made absolutely no attempt to sort this out for us so 2 of the girls in our group had to stay behind. I have still not been refunded and have dealt with Bongani who has told me "They will look into it" when I requested my refund and now Dilshaad Adams has told me "The booking is pending for final feedback analysis." They cancelled my booking and now will not refund me. This company is an absolute joke and complete mess. You have to pay upfront, they mess the booking up so you have to leave part of your team behind and then you have to beg for a refund. I will NEVER book through them again!

I asked to cancel a booking, 21 days ago and I'm still waiting. 13 days since I last received a email. Not only did I receive bad service, but the business practice is horrific. I made a booking 4 months in advance and had to cancel the very next morning. 4 months and they policy is they are taking 20% of the money for doing nothing, they still have oppertunity to fill the booking and all they offered was credit for the full amount. This is a terrible business model. I wouldnt want to book with you ever again. Worst booking experence in South Africa.
