Bonitas Medical Fund is all for the money and not for the health and well being of the people. I have severe chronic reflux where I am on double dose of 40mg Trustan. When I was diagnosed with Chronic reflux, I had a very difficult time where my quality of life was basically ZERO. I was constantly sick and used 3 years of sick leave in 6 months. Every 1 to 2 weeks I would try different PPI medication I lost 25kg in 3 months. I went to hospital for all different kinds of tests. I struggled with chest pains where I keep on thinking I am getting a heart attack. headaches, nausea, dizziness, depression, joint pains, weight loss. I had no will and no ambition for life. I did not want to see people or do anything at all. I took massive strain on my life and my family and work. It was 6-7 month of HELL in the end it was the PPI medication that was making me sick and was the cause of destroying my quality of life. Nexium was the medication that worked the best with me. Because the medication was so expensive, we Took the Trustan as it is a Clone of Nexium. All my history and what I have cone trough was sent to Bonita’s medical Air in 2017 to approve for Trustan to be supplied to me on my chronic medication fund. It was approved and my quality of life after 1 year was almost back to normal. I could have not been happier and so was my family. Now 3 and a half years later Bonita’s medical aid does not what to supply me the Trustan anymore and want me to now take other generic medication just to save a measly R125 and the cost of my health and quality of life. Note that I have 4 times applied for this and supplied them all info including my hole story of what I have gone through. I even got motivation letter from my Dr. and still they don’t want to they want me to now chance the meds and for me now to go through HELL again that cost me more again every time I go to the Dr. or hospital and on top of this be at risk of getting Covid 19, because when I do get sick I will have to go to Dr. and hospital where Covid 19 patients are situated. Not to say that every time I must go to the hospital, I have to do a covid 19 test and pay for it from my own pocket. But the real funny part is I Get R11 000 a year for my chronic medication that I Pay for every month at R3300 and my current chronic medication is only R9720 per year. I also believe once you are diagnosed with a chronic condition and they find the medication that works for you. Why would they now want to change it to save money. They must only save money to give you new medication that are proven to work better that what you are currently using. You don’t get better from a chronic condition you get worse over time. It is ether your condition that worsens, or the medication makes you sick and destroys your body over time I am so beaten down from fighting with Bonitas over R125 that they want to save even thou I have enough chroming medicine fund to pay for it I will now use my voice to be heard across south Africa and find people that are going trough the same struggles as me for the wrong reasons. Cup & Cake had Hyperli vouchers on sale all you can eat burgers. For R99 each On this Hyperli deal it does not state what burgers it only states all you can eat burgers. Before I purchased the vouchers, I contacted Cup & cake. I spoke to a man and asked him if it was just one burger on this deal or is there a menu that you can chooses from. He stated that it’s a menu that you can chooses from for this deal. I then purchase the vouchers. I contacted Cup & cake a day before to bake my booking and asked again about the burger deal and the same person stated again it’s a menu that you can chooses from On my arrival at Cup and Cake the waiter gave us the menu and I said we maid a booking for the all you can eat burgers. I asked him what burgers and we eat on this deal. He then said all the burgers on the menu, and we can just pick the one we want. I told him to give us 5 min. I then noticed on the other side of the menu there is an all you can eat burger listed. This was a plain bun and patty with tomato and letters. When the waiter returned, I asked him if this was not the all you can eat burger and he said no we can pick from the menu. We placed our order. After waiting 40min for the food. The waiter gave us our food but not what we order of the menu but the plain burger. He then only told us for the 1st time we can pick from the menu. I then asked to speak to the manager. He said ok he will call the manager. After waiting 15min and still no manager I decided to go to the waiter only to be told that the manager is not here. So, I then said why don’t you come and tell me the manager is not here. he then could not answer me. I asked for the managers contact details and he gave the Cup and Cake’s number. So, we left Cup & Cake after not eating at all and wasting 90 min of my day and one hours drive to there and back (50km) I then called every day for 7 days only to be told by the same person every day that the manager will be in tomorrow witch never happened. On day 7 when I asked who is the manager on duty he said it’s the Sheff when I asked to speak to him he said hold and when he came back he said he is busy and just put the phone down in my ear. This was the worst service I have ever experienced in my life and not I have left a message on up and Cake Facebook page for Sonja the owner to contact me and still nothing. I will now be filling a complaint on HelloPeter , Ombudsman, Eden On the Bay and a nice news article for the news papers
The worst ever courier in the world there is just no words for this company can never get hold of them to track a package. when someone does answer the phone they put it down in your ear. when you search for the couriers contact for your are and phone him he does not do your area and cant help you at all. and this is what we pay this company for this is daylight robbery. its a pity i have to select a star for a rating because you should get 0% rating. Perfect turfs cape town Is thieves. They sell you grass and tell you get 6 years warranty over the phone. Then when the job is done I had to get them back 8 times for bad workmanship and 10 months down the line the grass deteriorates completely from a 22mm length grass not 2mm if you lucky. All the black seems are showing and all the grass is falling out leaving the black base exposed. Then they slap you with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 for a period of 6 months from the date of delivery. This is robbery as I paid almost R10 000 (R350 psqm) for grass to last me only 10 Months. This Miguel guy is a thief and is avoiding all my emails. Don’t trust this company at all.
