This company is fraudulent. They advertise competitive / discounted pricing on back-up gel batteries, accept your payment, and then come-up with all kinds of excuses for why these deliveries have been delayed. I have found other customers that have also been dealing with MySolar shop that have been given similar excuses. They blame breakdown issues with the courier companies, who are also fed-up with dealing with this company. In the end, I have been trying to get a refund for more than 4 weeks now with all kinds of excuses and no response on how they are addressing. I am forced to take legal action now. After completing a very long administrative process to receive my car, even though i booked this weeks in advance, I was told by the attendant (Precious) to wait for a few minutes for my car. I waited outside the rental office for almost 1 hour before my car arrived, with my wife and 2 small children. Nobody had the decency to communicate to me that there were issues in my car being delivered. I eventually had to get the manager to intervene. Further, I cannot understand how your rental policy, for a very basic car, requires almost R25,000 rental / holding deposit on my credit card - An excessive amount in my opinion. deposit value. This is not the case with Avis, Budget, etc. The attendant gave me the option to add more cover, increase my rental fee, and then the deposit would drop to R12,500. I can only surmise that this is a poor sales attempt to get people to pay more for your car rental by lowering the deposit value. The whole experience was utterly horrible.
Unethical, non-responsiveness and horrible service - Nobody should support this company. Went for a family photoshoot in Nov '17, photographer was mediocre, not a lot of good photos to choose from. Nevertheless paid >R3000 for a package. After repeated attempts, no photos were received or communication around this. Eventually in Jan '18, photos were available - When I get there, not all photos are in the package, some flimsy explanation around their suppliers not delivering, they were unaware and not ownership of the problem. No attempt to deliver the missing photos to me, I need to travel to their studio again. Then I get a call 6 weeks later, saying the missing photos are available. But I need to come that specific day to pickup because they are 'closing for renovations' and no longer available to accommodate pickups. So I now need to drop everything to accommodate these clowns. This business should close down and stop wasting the time of customers, staff, and all our money.
