Sick and tired of Uber stating one upfront price and after the ride, the payment is reversed and a higher total is charged without the driver deviating from the route. Today, the upfront ride cost was R82 but after the ride the cost was reversed and R110 was deducted from my account. The difference of R28 equates to a 34.15% increase in which you have no say. I contacted Uber about this a few times but they come back with a generic response stating that the final amount is correct and in line with the route as per the application. Why give me an upfront price in the first place? I am wondering how legal it is what they're doing. If a customer agrees to an initial price for a proposed route and the ride takes place without any deviations, it seems ******** to credit the money back and charge a higher amount without the customer agreeing to it. Friends of mine who make use of the service always pay cash to avoid this trap. Even they had issues after rides where the driver demands extra money from them. This thievery should be challenged.
Ordered stuff online from PnP Asap. An hour later the status of the order did not yet change from order received to collection. Called the customer support line twice, requested to speak to an agent, waited 20min, got pushed to do a rating questionnaire and got cut off. Second call, got cut off a few minutes in. Didnt get to speak with an agent at all. This is the poorest service I've received from any online retailer which leads me to understand why Pick n Pay is going down. I was glad when PnP became an eBucks partner but with poor service and zero customer support they wont be gaining any customer confidence. Will most probably be my last use of this service and on to Checkers Sixty/60.
Bought the Microsoft 365 package for life. Got all the necessary details, saved a lot of data on the OneDrive, like drone footage, personal docs, etc. Suddenly it just stopped working. Sent multiple emails to them, their reaction...they just create a new profile for me everytime. Lost all my data and their support means nothing to this day. Rather purchase direct from Microsoft. It will cost you more but will not sit with the hassle.
Placed and paid for an order for a robot vacuum on 11 June 2023 for R1719 from this online store. Delivery was promised within 3-5 days. After multiple emails and very. very bad communication from the seller, it eventually led to me requesting a refund on 7 July 2023. Since then I've been struggling to get my money from the seller. I haven't seen the product, nor my money but I'm not allowed to say what I think this is, else my review will be removed again. I've got emails and loads of whatsapp messages since 7 July 2023 where I'm being promised that refund will happen, week-on-week, latest promise being that the money will be paid in on 21 August 2023. Well, it's now just past 8pm on the 21st of August 2023, TEN weeks after I ordered the item (remember delivery wouldv'e taken place in 3 to 5 days), and once again I'm waiting to receive a response to a Whatsapp message I sent to him earlier (message was delivered but no response). Worse than this there is none! This person has no sense of what communication and customer service is. I would not recommend anyone should do business with this store. Businesses like these give the online business space a bad name. I would honestly give zero stars if I could.
I purchased a robot vacuum/mop from this online store for R1719 on 11 June 2023. I was promised delivery in 3-5 days. After a back-and-forth with communication mostly from my side, I eventually cancelled the order and requested a refund on 7 July 2023. Since then it's become a battle to get my money back - last promise being I'll get my money on or before the 18th of August 2023. Nothing reached my bank account and I'm receiving no response to my Whatsapp messages. I'm hoping to see my money in the following week. Just a warning to others, no communication is what you can expect when you do business with this person. You need to email/text him so many times before you get a response. Worst online store I've dealt with to date. It's companies like these that makes it difficult for real online businesses to thrive. I will now be persuing legal assistance and will also be looking for ways to expose this business to the greater public. I've also started engaging bodies who deals with consumer protection in order to expose this *****.
DHA's online system is useless. Been waiting on the bank payment to be processed for 4 days. Nothing yet. I called all the numbers on the internet for DHA. No one picks up, phone just rings. How's that for service.
Wife had an operation at Paarl Medi-Clinic. A week later she had a lot of discomfort, swelling and excessive pain. Since it was after hours and Louis Leipoldt Medi-Clinic was closer to us, we decided to take her to the emergency rooms there. Upon seeing my wife and looking at the wound, the doctor advised that we rather go back to Paarl Medi-Clinic since the specialist who operated on her is stationed there and they wont be able to help her there. R864 paid for nothing. 25 Minutes later, we reached Paarl Medi-Clinic at 10pm, another file to be opened and another bill for R864, this time it's sent to the medical aid which also needs to be paid by me if they reject it. Why couldnt they help my wife at Louis Leipoldt Medi-Clinic? Six years ago after my wife had a c-section which also became infected, Netcare gladly took care of her. Was always very fond of the Medi-Clinic group but not anymore.
Needed to update my policy. Was assisted by Ramasela who quickly updated my policy to cover additional items. Process was quick and agent was efficient and knowledgable. Great service.
The field agent who knocked on my door to offer me a promotional fibre package, informed me incorrectly leading to me signing up for a fibre package. My questioning was very specific on the package and I have Whatsapp proof of this. I want this service to be cancelled, the equipment to be collected and have no futher interest in Vodacom's service due to this bad experience
The worst company to deal with. In order to sort out account queries (additional deductions etc) proving to be quite the challenge. We rather decided to go ahead and rather settle and close my mother-in-law's account on 16.12.2021 but didn't receive any confirmation to date. Calling their accounts department proved to be a useless waste of time since the person handling the call cannot speak properly. She could not even provide a reference number for the call as well. What a waste of time, will not be doing business with them in the future.
