I received an update regarding my order from the owner of Squeaky Smalls the following day after my last post, 13 April. He let me know that he hadn't been feeling very well which explained the lack of communication. He had unfortunately left his administrator, Jenny, holding the fort who called me the day of my last post leaving an unpleasant message on my voicemail after having a go at me on my Instagram DM's. He was sincerely apologetic and has kept me updated about the delivery of my order. It seems as though the hold up is with their delivery process. I have since adjusted my rating to be fair to the owner and I'm quite relieved that it is indeed a legitimate business which just happens to have an extremely rude and unprofessional administrator (Jenny) and an unfortunate choice of delivery mode which can cause a long wait for your delivery. Those are the only negatives I've had but I'm looking forward to my order. Overall, I am impressed with how the owner was able to turn this experience around and provide a better customer experience. He has also added a complimentary floating shelf to make up for my previous experience.
I am extremely frustrated with this company making unauthorized debits against my account. Every month since November 2017 I have been going to the bank to reverse these debit orders. Call center agents call me to "find out how I'm enjoying the service" or "why the debit order hasn't gone through" and I tell them EVERY TIME that I have cancelled this service and no longer want to be debited. It is really shocking that it's possible that theft like this can happen on your bank account and there is no way of putting such companies to order. My only option at this point is to close my bank account so that these filthy thieves don't get their hands on my money anymore. Do yourselves a favour and don't even sign up for this service to begin with. Try a company which has integrity and won't steal from you after cancelling the service.
