I logged a dispute with the Credit Card Dispute department in May 2023 with regards to a company that had accepted my money but never delivered the products I ordered. I have not gotten any proper feedback and have been requested on multiple occasions to submit the same form that I have already submitted. When I use the secure chat feature on the FNB app I am informed the matter has been escalated and I will be contacted within 48 to 72 hour and this does not happen. When I requested to be called back by a manager as I am unhappy about the service I am receiving I am informed that I need to call them. This is very poor service, I am very unhappy about this.
Do not order anything from this website, you will regret it. They are ****mers and ***** people's money. I order a breast pump and tooth brush on 13 March 2023 and only received confirmation of my order, I have sent whatsapps and emails and have not received any response. They are still accepting orders and people's money despite these reviews. This company should be investigated by the CIPC and their website needs to be closed to prevent any further ****s from occurring.
I made a booking for a flight for the 6th of May 2018 on Mango's website yesterday, 5 April 2018. Mango offers a 10% discount if you pay for the ticket with your Edgars card and I therefore requested a friend of mine whether I can make the booking with her card and then reimburse her for the cost. NO WERE on the website does it state that in order to qualify for the 10% you need to log in with your Edgars account from the start of the booking. I proceeded with making the booking and at a stage when I clicked to pay with the card an Admin fee of R68.25 was charged. I thought that the screen I was seeing was a pre-payment screen and that I will have an option for final review where the discount will appear before the transaction is finalized. But this was not the case as the transaction was processed and booking was made and I was charged the admin fee and I did not receive a discount at all. I contacted Mango's call center the afternoon to inquire if there was a mistake made on my booking and I was transferred 3 times before an agent spoke to me. I was speaking to an agent in the Mango Guest Care department and as I explained to her what had happened she quickly stated that I should have logged on with the Edgars card at the start of the booking. The more I explained to her that their website does not state this the more she kept saying I should have known. When I said I have not previously used this service she said Edgars should have told me. When I explained to her that it was not Edgars's responsibility to inform me she said that I should have contacted the call center to assist me with my booking if I did not know how to make a booking. I admit I am not proud of this but I did lose my temper a bit, raised my voice and said that it was bull sh*t, the agent then proceeded to hang up phone in my ear. I did not get her name. Mango and Edgars are scamming customers as Mango charges the admin fee if you do not log in from the start with the account and then Edgars also charges a 8% surcharge fee. It is disgusting that Mango states on their website you can get the 10% off but no where do they state that in order to qualify for the 10% discount you need to log in from the start. The way the agent spoke to me over the phone as well as the fact that she was very quick to inform me that I needed to log into the account at the starts makes me believe that I was not the first person that was scammed this way. I personally shall never use this airline again even if they are cheaper and I shall advise all my friends and family to do the same. Shame on you Mango for scamming consumers this way!!!
