have been fraudulently increasingly our premium. When contacted no is aware and we promised refunds, investigations and this will never happen again. Its been 3 months of the same thing. Not one refund, not one call back from the multiple manager request or any interest. It is perhaps the most puzzling thing to hear I dont know from a employee and I've heard this multiple times. Add on that don't have never been requested and no one can explain how they were requested
After my phone got pick pocketed, we contacted Vodacom to claim for insurance. After a while we returned to the store and the called the claims team It was declined as it was insured for damage alone (I reside in the cape flats, really now?) And they had no information of my S10. What was insured was a Iphone which was covered for damage. When we took out the insurance our IMEI number was provided, all communication wether it be on Twitter, email or telephony was about a Samsung S10... but when it was time to claim another details was in my account. How did that information get there? How did the IMEI number get there? The agent I spoke to agreed that there'd been some sort of breach of my personal information on a recorded line. He also promised me a phone call from his manager, recordings of the calls about insurance and to deal with this matter. It's been three weeks since that conversation, I still don't have my phone nor do I have an answer to how and how large the data breach could be. Before I seem resolutions through bodies that protect customer information and breaches like this, I'd like Vodacom to resolve this.
I've been robbed on a Saturday morning of my hard earned funds, then to be told to wait till Monday. A manger raising her voice at me and threatening to not help me, after a crime has been committed. Nolu who has been described as a manger with out the s**** set to assist me sufficiently and threatened to drop the line after I called Capitec thieves. All of this was due to transactions that did not take place in my account, all this was a mistake that Capitec allowed. I was held at ransom, by thieves. I've called thrice & have spent part of the morning and afternoon on hold, while the line is been consistently being ended. I currently have no access to my funds due to the theft by Capitec
