I have been without internet since Sunday the 24th December 2023, i have been back and fouth with vox on whatsapp trying to get a technician to be dispatched, this is really unaccpetable and dissapointing. I have even send a email this morning. I cannot be sitting around everyday hoping someone will arrive eventually. I have been a loyal customer for years and only to be treated like this. Vox please call me with a solution asap.
Hands down the best halaal thai food I have ever tasted in cape town. Definitely frequenting this place.
A week before attending Jiah restaurant, I had called to make a reservation for 15 people for a special occasion, and requested that suitable seating be arranged for a buffet. I was told that there was availability for the booking and they would call me later that day to confirm my reservation, but no one had responded as promised. I called the next morning and had to remind them they had forgotten to return my call regarding the reservation. Upon arrival half of the guests had to sit on couches (which were stacked on bricks) at the table which resulted in them getting hurt when the couch fell off the bricks. Tables were cramped in a corner where guests constantly had to stand up for each other when someone needed to get to the buffet. Down-lighters were not working, which resulted in poor lighting for dining. The food was appalling, dry broken chicken which was clearly not fresh to anyone, hard calamari that was heated up, old salads and cold pasta, etc. When tea and coffee was ordered waiters had to constantly be asked for cutlery, and guests eventually used knives to stir tea and coffee. The most disgusting part of the evening when a waiter gave the bill, of almost R3000, to our guests instead of straight to me just 20 minutes after being seated while we were eating the main course. We have never experienced a restaurant like this compared to restaurants like Al Hambra, etc. which has never been disappointing. A week later we have still received no response/apology from management or the owner despite numerous attempts to reach them. I would not recommend this place to anyone as you will be wasting your time and money.
