I had a Vizia Mini DC UPS for Wifi 57000mWh which I bought 12 October 2021. In March this year, I noticed the backup supply did not work anymore during load shedding. I opted to buy another one, last Friday 23/05 the new unit blew up leading to a fire incident. Thankfully the fire was contained, would have been a different story. I am still curious on why the unit blew up. The sockets and plugs where it was plugged were still intact and no power tripping happened
Will it be unfair to tag them as scammers? I have read reviews on here and it seems to me their approach is only reactive and nothing proactive. They are yet to verify my documents since January, even after sending several emails and uploading to the website nothing has been done. What I get are emails that say "The proof of residence that was submitted was either not clear or did not fulfil the below criteria. Please resubmit your proof of residence, no older than 3 months in your name, before we can complete the FICA verification process" even though the Proof of residence supplied is valid enough as it came from the bank. Calls to their support number never gets picked and it goes on forever and has become overbearing.... Being unverified meant I could not withdraw my funds which would have been my preference before cryptocurrencies nosedived...
