I did an insurance claim for our TV that stopped working and our insurance company gave us a takealot coupon to purchase another TV. I ordered the tv online and they delivered only to find out when opening the box (Hisense 43") that there is no stands, no remote and no power cable. Its a week now and takealot is telling me that they cannot get me a other tv and they want to refund me. I really wanted that tv and now im forced to buy through takealot as they can only credit my account with the coupon. so I must buy something that I don't want. I think this is real poor service on takealots side. they could atleast make an effort to source me the tv that I want instead of saying "sorry for any inconvenience caused. I will not buy from takelot ever again.
My son did a shoot for this agency in July 2017 which until today we did not receive payment. we have made numerous attempts by calling and e-mailing them with no success. I have spoken to Lucy who has now blocked my number as I tried to get hold of her again. There answer is always we will get back to you before close of business but they never do. There office numbers don't work any more. I was given a number for a Nelly who handles the accounts but the phone just rings. The number is online on whatsapp but no answer when you call. My wife received a e-mail stating "we were not aware at the office that payment has not been processed". this is after many calls from me and e-mails. its obvious that my number has been blocked which is very suspicious. If only we could get some positive feedback from this company it wouldn't have reached this point. The fact that we have to contact them all the time just made things worse.
