This was my first experience with hiring a car and I will definitely be making use of Woodford should the need arise in the future. The booking process was painless and I received my deposit back within 3 days. The only thing that reduces this review to 4 stars is that it was a bit inconvenient that I couldn't use my RCS credit card for the holding deposit and was not made aware of the fact prior to me collecting the car. I had to transfer funds from a savings account to my FNB credit card, which would have been a big problem if I didn't have the option of transferring funds around.
I have been a Naked client since they started and haven't been disappointed once. Great and speedy service and communication always. Make the switch, you won't regret it.
Rain advertises Unlimited Home 5G Standard Service including use of a free-to-use 5G router at R699. I used this service for a total of 24 days of which I had horrible connection for most of the 24 days and ended up having a total of R1 238.55 deducted from my credit card. I have been struggling to get my money back since the beginning of March 2021. To date all I can get out of the call centre agents are that the matter is with accounts. It is unacceptable that I have to go without my over deducted money until Rain finds the time to eventually look at my account. This is theft. My Rain 5G Router was only activated on the 10th of February 2021 and R699 was taken off of my account on the 3rd of Feb 2021 upon ordering. (PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER RECEIVING THE ROUTER ON THE 5TH, IT TOOK RAIN 5 DAYS TO ACTIVATE MY 5G, ONLY AFTER HAVING TO CONTACT THEM SEVERAL TIMES) I cancelled on the 26th of February 2021 and all services were cancelled from your side on the 5th of March 2021. An amount of R449.36 was taken off of my account on the 2nd of March 2021. A further R90.16 was deducted off of my account on the 2nd of April 2021 - after all the queries about over deductions since the 2nd of March, you still deducted MORE!!! Please explain why I would need to pay R449.36 for in arrears billing for Feb 21 (24 days not even a full month) if I paid R699 upfront for Feb 21. I have lodged queries and contact rain telephonically to get this matter resolved and I find it highly frustrating that a simple query like this cannot not be resolved telephonically and that I am requested to send yet another email. When sending emails I get the following response : "Thank you for contacting rain. Please Note that we Bill you in Arrears, The last billing that took place was for active services in the month of February hence a pro rata was Charged" I paid upfront for Feb 21 and therefore no arrears billing is applicable. It is really not that difficult to comprehend and there is no excuse for it taking more than a month to resolve. I had the exact same service last year when lock down just started and didn't have any issues. Seems like, with everything else in SA, that Rain's service delivery is getting worse by the day.
I had my doubts about Naked when I had to start my claims procedure after my car was hi-jacked while in the mechanic's care on the 30th of November 2020. I only joined them in March 2020 and my insurance was on pause for most of the year due to working from home as a result of Covid. Even thought the claims procedure was quite long winded and I had to ask for updates on a regular basis, I was extremely impressed by the end result. I have never had to claim before so I am sure it would have taken the same amount of time for any other insurer as well. Needless to say I picked up my new vehicle today and insured through Naked again. They have definitely earned my loyalty and trust. I am even getting my mom to move her 2 vehicles and house hold insurance over to Naked. Will definitely recommend them to anyone. The best part is you never have to sit on a phone call for hours trying to get a quote or to change any details on your policy, everything is done on their user friendly app.
Please do not order and JBD Jewellery from any agent of theirs. I placed and order for R700 on the 7th of December 2020 and had to pay immediately (which cost me R40 in bank charges) for my order to be in time for Christmas. To date (5 January 2021) I have not received my order and the agent Tanisaha Goberdhan trading under Wings and Things is just ignoring all of my whatsapps and calls. Very frustrating. What I can gather from all the negative feedback on JBD is that the issue lies with JBD themselves, but I find it very unprofessional that the agents do not just tell you the truth about your order. Would love to sue them, but they do not supply enough information anywhere to enable you to track them down. Very clever crooks these lot. Wish I came to Hello Peter and read reviews before I placed my order! Very expensive lesson to learn.
I would not recommend anyone to make use of Renewonline's services. During lockdown I renewed my licence disk and paid a R1000+. I fully understand that the licensing department was closed and therefore I was patient. The thing that upsets me is that there is no communication from Renewonline keeping you up to date on the progress of your order. There is no telephone number anywhere and they do not respond to emails. When they don't get hold off you on you mobile, they do not even bother to send you an email. I also didn't receive any notification of my parcel being out for delivery but they can send me an email to say that they couldn't deliver as they couldn't get hold of me. If I knew that I was expecting a delivery I would have been glued to my phone. It is starting to seem that I won't ever receive my disc. Very disappointed and aggravated
Excellent service received once again from King Price Insurance. Made the switch to King Price 6 years ago and have never been disappointed. Phoned today to cancel my household contents insurance as I am going through a divorce and had to move in with my parents. Got it cancelled without any hassles and then even got my vehicle insurance premium decreased without even asking for it. Thank you Andre Potgieter for going the extra mile and for making my day. I received excellent, friendly and efficient customer service from you today. It was lovely dealing with you and I will definitely be contacting you directly for any future queries. Keep up the good work and spirit.
Would like to commend Thick Fibers on their excellent service. Have been ordering hair fibers from them for the past year now and they never disappoint. Will definitely continue supporting their business as good customer service is so hard to find these days. Keep up the great job.
