Awesome service, friendly staff and in time with their service. Will recommend them to all
Since Thursday 30 January 2025, I have been having problems with my ISP (Vumatel/Mweb). I tried calling Mweb Technical assistance everyday. I tried everyday up to four times a day to report the problem. The internet is constantly on and off, on and off. Calling for assistance does not help as you ate no 36, no 25, no 20, no 30 in line and holding on does not help as the line is eventually dropped. Payment goes through every month on time but, service is non-existent!! Connecting to Mweb app doesn't even help as the computer tries to get answers from you and leads you down a rabbit hole!! My suggestion is STAY AWAY FROM VUMATEL/MWEB AS AN ISP. THEY ONLY ***** YOUR MONE!!!
It has now been 2 weeks since I contacted Pro Gate Motor Repairs for a quotation to replace and install a new gate motor after vandalism got to my motor. To date the company or their respective has not contacted me for the quotation. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
I have a Mweb/Vuma fiber internet connection. I have been having troubles with my connection for the past 24 hours. No internet connection! Try and resolve that!! But pay, oh yes, they are very fast to be on your case to pay, but their service is up to sh@t!!!
I got an 10 Gb capped LTE service from Telkom on 31/12/2015. Afetr a while, I realised that 10 Gb per month was not enough. I contacted Tekom and asked to upgrade to an uncapped LTE service. The service was approved and it was paid via a debit order. In the beginning of 2021, I was informed via SMS that my account has been handed over to a collection company called Blake Collections, as I was in arrears with my account. I have sent various emails to Telkom enquiring as to the problem and all I get no answer from them. On 19 July 2021, I went to a Telkom store and reported the problem and logged a dispute. (Case Number 58565866) From then on, I sent an email ever week to find out if the case has been resolved and what the outcome is. All I get from Telkom is: "Good day JP Meyer Thank you for your email and I hope this mail finds you well. Please do accept my sincere apologies for the delayed email response. This email is with reference to Case number:58565866 Kindly please be advised the case has not been resolved its still open for investigation. We will thoroughly revert back to you once feedback is updated. Apologies for the inconvenience caused once again. I will escalated to enquire on the delay and time it has taken to resolve the case." On Tuesday 16 August 2021, I got the following message from Telkom: "Your Telkom Acc has been handed over to Blake and Associates." NO COMMUNICATION FROM TELKOM AS TO THE DISPUTE LOGGED OR THE OUTCOME OF THE DISPUTE!! Hopefully somebody from Telkom will read this review and contact me with regards to the problem as this is my last hope. Telkom does not deliver any service at all and I cant wait for my uncapped contract to end, ast this will be the last time I ever doe business with Telkom!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM TELKOM AS THEY ONLY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!
On Monday 30 March , I saw an adverti*****t on Builders Warehouse's web page for a 4 burner gas hob. The price was within my budget and I ordered the hob online for delivery. I got an email with my order number and delivery was suppose to take place on 1 April. Nothing was delivered. On Saturday 3 April I called and they informed me that the glass lid of the hob was broken but, they are waiting for s new one and delivery will be Tuesday 6 April. Still no delivery. After several calls to Builders Warehouse, explaining to them that I have to pay a call out fee every day to a contractor for the cutting of the top, Builders Warehouse's representative confirmed that delivery will take place on Thursday 8 April. Thursday afternoon at about 5:30 pm, a vehicle arrived to deliver....a lass lid. No stove! I looked at the delivery note and low and behold, only a glass lid! I looked on Builders Warehouse's web page and.... the stove is removed. No trace of anything!! I would suggest to stay away from these scammers!!!
I bought an after-market system from NavShop Vehicle Technology Specialists a couple of years ago for my Ford Ranger. It was delivered and installed by a technician and after a while, I realised that the dashcam did not function every time. I was in an accident and it did not work that day. After several months (emails, wattap’s and phone calls), Mr Casserley eventually send me the upgrades for the system. As you all know, technology improves daily and personal requirement changes with technology. In October 2019, I realised that the current system no longer met my requirements. I contacted NavShop and inquired about an upgrade to meet my requirements. Mr Casserley informed me that there is a new system available and he offered to buy back my current system from me. I thought that was wonderful and asked him for an invoice. On 28 October 2019, I received the invoice and did an EFT immediately. That is where my problems started! I gave the company two weeks after I made the payment because I knew they had to import the item. Mr Casserley promised the package would be delivered the next week Monday. Monday became Tuesday, Tuesday became Wednesday, Became Thursday, became Friday, became Monday! One excuse upon the other! In December 2019, Mr Casserley offered to refund me within the next week. I agreed to this, as I was very frustrated at this point. After a week, I was still not refunded and I contacted Mr Casserely. He said he has a new offer for me with a newer system as the one he offered before. Once again, I agreed to his new offer. January 2020 came and gone. During February 2020, Mr Casserley informed me that he would personally fly to Pretoria to come and install the system. He even gave me a flight number and time to expect him. His word were: “I will of course sort all your stuff out by close of business tomorrow”. Mr Casserley never arrived! One again promises were made for Monday, which became Tuesday, ……….. On 03 March 2020, Mr Casserley promised to come and install the system (which I have not received yet) on 04 March after 1 in the afternoon. On the fourth, Mr Casserley informed me, once again, that he could only get a flight by midday on the fifth. He never arrived, however he gave me a tracking number for the parcel. The courier service never collected or delivered the package! In July 2020, NavShop informed me they are back in business and Mr Casserley would be flying to Pretoria on Monday 6 July 2020 to complete our business, however, Mr Casserley postponed the meeting until the Friday afternoon. Mr Casserley never showed up for the meeting! On 20 July 2020, I was informed that a technician would come and install my system, as he will be doing installations in Pretoria. At this stage, I still have not received any system from NavShop! Mr Casserley, once again informed me that he would be flying to Pretoria on 27 July 2020. He said: “I am only going to see you at about 2.00pm tomorrow in PTA. This is 100% confirmed”. Mr Casserley did not show up and informed me that he will see me the next Monday. He also made the following promise: “I have a surprise for you when I do see you though. Will have been worth the wait.” On 5 August 2020, Mr Casserley informed me that he will be installing my system by 6 August 2020 and he promised that this would be the last delay. On 13 August 2020, Mr Casserley postponed the installation again to Friday. However, again, no show by Mr Casserley or any of his technicians. On 17 August 2020, I got an email with a waybill number for the delivery of the package. The package that was delivered was for a Porsche. (I drive a Ford Ranger). According to Mr Casserley, my consignment was sent to Upington and Upington’s consignment was sent to me! Mr Casserley blamed the courier company for the wrong delivery! The courier company collected the wrong package from me and my package never was delivered. Eventually the package was delivered at NavShop in Cape Town where the courier company collected it. 03 September 2020, NavShop informed me that the courier company will collect the parcel the next day for delivery. 07 September 2020, Mr Casserley informed me that delivery will take place the next day. 09 September 2020, I was once again informed that delivery will take place by the close of business the next day. Nothing ever delivered once again! 11 September 2020, I got a WhatsApp from Mr Casserley, informing me that he will order a new Android 10 system for me from the factory. I was promised that it would be delivered within 5 days. 21 September 2020, I tried to contact Mr Casserley via email and WhatsApp. Mr Casserley informed me that the item is on route. He was waiting for details form the courier company. 25 September 2020, I got information that the parcel would be delivered definitely Monday 28 September 2020. 29 September 2020, Mr Casserley again promised that delivery would take place by the end of business the next day! Still, NO DELIVERY! This is however not the end! Promises were made for delivery and installation every day but nothing happened! It is always ……. Tomorrow and tomorrow!!!! Today is 27 February 2021. I had an appointment for installation on Wednesday 24 February 2021. The installer contacted me and said that he had a problem and cannot come to me and made a definite appointment for Saturday 27 February 2021. 10 Minutes before the appointment, he phones, said he has a problem, and cannot come to do the installation. I have cancelled how many other commitments from my side to accommodate their appointments. Iam still battling to get anything out of NavShop SA!! If I wrote down all the excuses that I have been offered, it would be thicker than a Wilbur Smith novel! As can be seen, NavShop has been stringing me along for 16 months now with excuses and promises. In my case, NavShop has failed in their mission and I quote from their web site, “Our mission is to give you the highest level of satisfaction with our product offerings and services” Please, STAY AWAY FROM NavShop. Stay away from NavShop and the Managing Director Mr Sean Casserley. All he does is make excuses and do not deliver on his promises!!

I took out an uncapped contract with Telkom. For the past few months I have no or very little connection! I have logged a complaint for three days in succession. I got no reply from them! To open their web page in my browser takes more than 10 minutes! After that, if you click to log a complaint, the browser just hangs and eventually comes back with "address could not be found" . It takes more than 25 minutes to download a 20kb picture on Wattsapp! I have to pay!! Otherwise I get handed over to attorneys for breaching my contract, but Telkom can breech the contract without any consequences!! This is absolutely bull!! The consumer is not protected from companies such as Telkom!!
