I bought a new Fredom Won Etower Battery and it was installed 1 month ago. From the very first day it was giving problem as one cell will not charge. The person assisting me told me that I overcharged the battery which is incorrect, from the logs on the battery the over charge happened when the battery was manufactured over a year ago and not since I had the battery. Freedom Won now want to repair the battery but I bought a new battery and do not want a repaired battery that was faulty from day 1! I have also found many people have had problems with this same model battery, seems quality control is very poor at the factory of these eTower batteries. Other manufacturers use the same components without having these problems. I only have the 1 battery and no grid connection so it can not be expected that I must wait for a battery repair.
Just as bad as Telkom, do not resolve issues and will not listen to the many "recorded" calls I have made as they refuse to admit fault or failure to provide services or resolve problems. They also do not reply to emails, only get a responce on facebook stating they have resolved the issues even though they have not.
I placed my order with Banggood.com Air Parcel Register on 28-5-2018, order was shipped by the 30-5-2018. I expected delivery to only arrive after 18-7-2018 as advised by Banggood but on 6-6-2018 I received an email from Fastway couriers that my parcel has been picked up from JHB and was delivered the following day to my door. I am very impressed with the new service offered and solution to our very slow SA Post Office. Thank you Banggood.
