Takealot just does not get back to you. It's the 3rd time I have ordered a product and still have not received the correct thing. I have called takealot, they said they have escalated it but I still have not received a call from them. It's 3 days. They keep giving me credit instead of a replacement, so I must pay for delivery again.
In January i wrote a complaint about the treatment and exchange policies of Baby Boom Forways Mall and how Customer Care responded to me. Not one person even tried to find out what happened. This. Shows what type to culture this company has. It starts from the Top management down to the shop floor staff. I will never go onto one of there stores again.
I just want to bring to everyone's attention about my experience with Baby Boom. I sent my daughter to Baby Boom Fourways Mall to buy Maternity gifts for my expecting children for Christmas. It turned out that they had already purchased this for themselves so I send them back to the store to be refunded. As it turns out the manager at the store refused to take them back because they say they don't take this product back. I took this up with the customer care and Amara is whom I spoke to. She first told me that she would speak to her manager in the store and get back to me, of which she did. She then told me that the reason it was not refunded was because the product was used and that my daughter admitted to using it, which was not the case the product was never removed from its original packaging. She then insisted to speaking to my daughter to establish who was telling the truth and not wanting to speak to me a third party. Speaking to my daughter she insisted that we were not telling the truth and that her manager was right she now wants us to prove that this product was not used and we have to take photos to send to her. Where is the customer service. Now we must take the product out of its packaging which we are not prepared to do, also waste more of our time trying to prove that we are not lying. What is this? I have never been treated like this by a company in my whole life. I am the customer, my daughters is only the messenger. I need this issue sorted out and I want a full refund in cash. I would have happily taken a voucher with intension of giving it to my children but I do not want anything to do with Baby Boom again.
Rate: One star minus... I on the 19 th June 2018, entered into a new contract with Vodacom and have paid for switching over and porting my number frown Virgin Mobil to Vodacom. Today the 25th June I have still not got connection to my contract. This is completely unacceptable. If I were told that this could have happened I would never have taken a contract out with them. I have made contact with them but nothing can be done about this. It is unending and I am suffering losses because I have also started up a new business and am unable to receive and make calls. Where to from now?
