I recently returned 2 mouses to Take a Lot, one return reference MRRN-CKYEP-NVRR - Glorious Model I 2 Ultra Lightweight Wireless Gaming, and the other MRRN-Z8V7G-NXQO - Dell Alienware Wireless Gaming Mouse - AW620M - Dark Side of the Moon. What did Take a Lot do, they kindly mixed up these 2 deliveries. Gave me a refund for the Glorius Mouse, but then in the same breath, told me I sent in this mouse in place of the Alienware mouse...and then beautifully declined my refund for the Alienware Mouse. I have been in touch with the following people, trying to get this matter soirted out - Debbie.M (The Warehouse genius who got this whole matter started) - Chastidy.S - who promised that she excalated the matter - Liziwe M - another empty promise of resolution - Elona.K - a promise to have this matter escalated - Alizwa.M - another promise of escaltion - Elethu.S - another promise of escalation - Zikhona.M, she started with a promise of getting Melissa Able, the so called manager, to call me, but sadly I had to call back 4 times asking for her attention, and to this day I'm still waiting for her to call me.
I returned a product because I ordered 2 of the same item. The guy that came to collect the item, opened the item and took photos. Then Take a Lot declined the return, after the product evaluation. When I called to find out what was going on, they said that I chose the reason "did not want it anymore" as my return reason and thus because the item was opened, they can't accept the return, even though their driver opened the item. Then, the lady I spoke to, Nwabisa.N, said she would check with the warehouse to see if they had the item and to correct the matter. I leave it at that and then after not receiving any communication, I call again and speak with Mischay.S, who tells me Nwabisa didn't do anything about it, as she could not find anything on the system about it. Mischay.S promised me she would get this sorted out and said she would get a Supervisor to call me. I'm still waiting for a call from the Supervisor and am still waiting for my R3095.00 refund. No accountability, no common courtesy either. I would have felt better if they had just told me to F*** off. can again and speak with Inshaaf.P ho tells me the case is with the Finance Department and should be sorted out soon. 1 month down the line I call again and find that all these agents were lying to me as the next person tells me that he can't see that anything has been done about this. I wrote to Hello Peter and asked for supervisors to contact me and nothing! Take a lot's service has gone to the dogs like the every other call centre in this country! Ref: MRRN-O6P44-888A

For the longest time I raved about Rain and their service but then about 2 - 3 years into my stay with them, my router starts giving me problems. I report this in February of 2023 and I try and get their attention with calls and emails but to no avail. It is now almost October, almost a full 9 months into me pleading with them to come and replace the router as it is not functioning properly. I'm at my wits end and this review is my last ditch attempt to get them to do something.
Ike the owner of this business is a **** and a **** artist. I asked him to sell my scooter almost 2 years ago. He insisted I give him the papers for my scooter in order to sell the bike which I did as I trusted him at the time. From that moment on for almost 2 years I got every excuse under the sun as to why he was having problems selling my scooter. To date he has paid me R7000 and there is still R3000 outstanding. I have literally been begging this man to pay me my money but when I call him, he either does not take my call or he sends me an automatic message saying he will call me later and then he never does. You will be sorry if you decide to do business with this man.
