I have had a very pleasant experience at Springbok Gearbox in Ottery Road , Cape Town. My 2011 Suzuki SX4 had a CVT gearbox problem and needed repair. I took it in to Springfield Gearbox , where it was assessed and diagnosed, and a quote given on the expected cost of the repair. The car was taken in , and the repairs undertaken. I was kept informed of the progress, and advised on what was happening. The work was completed in the time expected, and the car was available at the allotted time , clean neat and fixed. Not only is the box working as expected but it seems to be even smoother than before.A few other points where indicated , and advice given about what I should do to correct them. Nice people to do business with, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a gearbox repair, at any time
A week ago on the 24th June my wife upgraded her Cell C contract with Glocell ,and was promised the world if a new contract is taken out ,she obliged and renewed her contract, for call only not a new telephone. She was promised that she could phone any 086 number, which she was not able to do before , and that there would be no disruption is her service, at all. Now on Friday 29th June ,of the same year, she tried to use her phone and was given the message that she was now out of minutes, and had no data left either. In the mean time an SMS was sent to her phone acknowledging her contract renewal, to be effective from the 1st July 2018, which is Sunday coming. On phoning GloCell , an operator answered the phone , took the complaint and then promptly put her on hold and then dropped the call conveniently. On redialing , an operator eventually answered the call, told her she did not understand the contract , but could not explain where the minutes or data on her current contract had gone, he then told her to wait, and then also conveniently went missing after a 5 minute wait. This is not serviceman fact its downright disgraceful customer relationship.There is no service and the customer liaison desk is aggressive. If you are thinking of changing to GloCell ,please don't , their service is non existent, and customers do not count from their perspective. The impression is all they want is your contract ,then get lost. It also appears that they are stealing call time and data, and this is the perception one gets until shown otherwise. We are not sure what the connection to CellC is , but it appears there is a link of some sort.
