I am extremely disappointed with how my PPS Short-Term Insurance motor claim is being handled. I have effectively been ghosted throughout this process, with calls logged without any reference numbers (only consultant names provided), no return calls despite repeated follow-ups, and ongoing requests for the same documentation even after confirmation that it has already been submitted. I also continue to receive SMS messages referring to documentation requests when no clear or formal request has been communicated. What is most concerning is the selective manner in which my claim assessor responds to my emails, addressing some points while ignoring others, which has made it impossible to progress the claim efficiently or with clarity. This experience has been particularly shocking given that I have consistently recommended PPS to colleagues and peers for life cover, critical illness, disability, and investments, and it is completely at odds with the professional image of the brand. To make matters worse, my advisor was instructed to step out of the process, leaving me without adequate support or escalation. At this stage, I am simply requesting fair, transparent, and consistent engagement so that my claim can be handled efficiently and brought to finality.

Numerous attempts to follow up via phone calls have gone unanswered, leaving me in the dark about the status of my claim. Furthermore, all emails sent have not been attended to within the specified turnaround time. This lack of communication is not only inconvenient but also poses a significant risk to my safety, as the condition of my car is likely to deteriorate further. Meaning this Festive season I still need to continue using a faulty car. I implore you to treat this matter with the urgency it deserves. I chose your company with the expectation of prompt and efficient service, and the current situation has fallen far short of that standard. I kindly request immediate attention to my claim and a timely resolution to avoid any further inconvenience and potential safety hazards.
I recently attempted to file a claim with Budget Warranty, and the experience was incredibly frustrating. Despite the company deducting fees before my salary was even paid (forcing me to adjust payment dates), the process of putting in a claim proved to be nearly impossible. Spending 2 hours on hold with no alternative options is simply insane. The lack of efficient customer service is disappointing and needs improvement.
I was looking for a move and willing to pay morw premium, addional excesses but I'm having same poor services- I don't even see a reason why I should continue with Auto General. Give me a call with a good reason why I should continue doing business with you guys as my previous insurance still have my account active.
A nightmare to cancel, remove my policy and contact them. I can't be help via the number their put on the sms they sent (so why put it there?). I'm even thinking of removing my other Old Mutual policies by association (perhaps I need to do separate Old Mutual review for that).
