Pathetic. Pathetic. Pathetic. Constantly receiving payment reminders and requests DESPITE my payment being made and reflecting on the app every month! Their systems clearly need to be jacked up. I intend to pay off this account and hope to never hear from them again.
No complaints at all. Reasonably priced replacement cell battery received within 2 weeks of order being placed. Not bad at all considering the order was placed on 20th December. Battery itself seems to be solid with fairly long lasting charge.
As an attorney having the misfortune to deal with this company, I would STRONGLY advise colleagues against accepting their mandates and the public at large against obtaining cover through them. Our fees/disbur*****ts in respect of a high court matter involving one of their insured remain unpaid in excess of 60 days. This is despite their own contractual undertaking to pay no later than 45 days after receiving an invoice and our repeated requests for payment. The constant refrain is that the the matter "is with our finance department". They appear to have zero understanding of legal billings, the immense work involved in protecting clients' interests in especially litigation matters where there is some degree of urgency and the potential prejudice to clients involved in litigation when fees/disbur*****ts are not timeously paid. I also recall now having had the misfortune to deal with them on a personal level in 2021 through my insurers at the time. Their service then was equally pathetic. My free advice: STAY AWAY FROM THEM! I await their pro forma, ineffectual response to this post.
The most pathetically *********** bank in the history of pathetically *********** banks! They were useless when I had current accounts with them 20 yeas ago and nothing has changed. Account settled in full last week and paid up letter received but still receiving messages demanding "arrear" amounts. Received these sorts of demands before settlement as well despite my account being up to date and receiving written confirmation from them that my account was up to date. Emails sent to them elicit totally garbled and meaningless responses. Pathetic! My advice ... stay away from these clowns! Will be lodging complaints with the National Credit Regulator and Financial Sector Conduct Authority soon. Pity 1 star is the lowest available rating.
Stay away! Stay away! Stay away! I was directed to them by Sanlam for possible debt consolidation. They ended up placing some or other debt review notice on my credit bureau profile WITHOUT MY AUTHORITY, thus impacting on my otherwise impeccable credit record. I did not at any stage enquire about debt review and their actions were totally unlawful. Subsequent emails to them were received but elicited no response whatsoever and I am in the process of referring their conduct to the relevant regulatory authorities. Pity 1 star is the lowest! Don't bother to send any apologetic "looking into the matter" rubbish response.
Phenomenal after sales service from Takealot! My noisy wireless printer was picked up and replaced in a week. So happy to find a retailer who is fully aware of and complies with the Consumer Protection Act. Credit where it's due.
