In the little over a month that we have been with Clear Access (Bedfordview), we have had 6 outages of which 2 were over 24 hours each. We had more internet downtime than loadshedding. I could never have imagined that internet service could be so terrible. We have been with openserve for almost 4 years and never had an outage. In my 30 years of having internet service, I have never experienced such connectivity issues. Their slogan is: “It just works” believe me it does NOT. Had to get Rain 5G which is actually working, not the same upload speed but more or less the same download speed as the package we have with Clear Access. I can really not get to any other conclusion than Clear Access have absolutely NO clue what they are doing. And then they have the audacity to charge you the full price at the end of the month. Stay far clear!!!

I would like to share the horrible service received from Fedex. I ordered a package from Norway and arrived quite quickly in South Africa. This is where the problems start. On Friday the 20th of July 14:11 I received a mail from Fedex ********** requesting documents for customs. 21minutes later at 14:32 the documents were sent that was requested. Absolutely nothing happened and I decided to call them on Monday. To my disbelieve I found out that it was NOT forwarded to customs. So 3 days wasted. Only after I called on Monday the documents were forwarded and got a message to state that it will take up to 5 working days to clear. So now it is 5 days + the 3 days that have been wasted. So, to speed up the process I tried to call Fedex once again to ask for the Customs Case number, I have been told to hold and after several minutes the call was simply dropped. So i mailed Fedex to ask for the Customs Case number and the reply is as follows: ------------------------------------------------------------ Hi Adriaan Please note that your details has been submitted to customs and we are now awaiting feedback from customs, our turnaround time to receive feedback is 5 working days. I will keep you updated as I receive update from our Team in the Imports department. Regards ------------------------------------------------------------- The above response was already sent to me, I have CLEARLY asked for the CUSTOMS CASE number, not for what may happen or what not. It seems impossible to get anything out of Fedex even something as simple as a Customs Case Number. I have used DHL, UPS & Aramex many times over the years without any issues like this. I wish I had asked my supplier which shipping company he will use so I could have stayed clear from Fedex as I had issues with them in the past as well. This is a very urgent package and I have to put up with such terrible service. And it seems that there is a whole bunch of the same complaints!!! Stay clear from Fedex!
