Had a package coming from Germany. Eveything went well till it arrived in South Africa. I am waiting on a clearance invoice - basically a import duty to pay on the items I purchased in Germany. Ive been trying for 5 days, calling FEDEX South Africa daily. To date I have made 53 phones with only one answered. So I have no idea how I will get the package or if I ever will..... There isnt a work in the dictionary on how incompatent and just how poor service delivery is for FEDEX South Africa. If you use choose to use FEDEX after reading all about there poor service you deserve to suffer....Thats my assesemt. Never ever will I use them again.
I needed to get a bag with personal sports goods shipped from the UK to South Africa. FEDEX indicated they would have it in South Africa within 8 days - this I thought was great. The bag weighs 28kg and is filled with Paraglider equipment. The parcel was collected on the 16th June in the UK. It went to the distribution point the same day and stayed there till 21st June. Between the 21st June to 26th there is no data on where the package was. It arrives in South Africa on the 27th June. From the 27th June till the 3rd July it has been in Customs. The FEDEX Clearance agents had all documents requested on the 17th of June. Even though they have the documents they keep requesteding them at different occasions, wether it be your ID document, or the inventory list etc. I have made 26 phone calls to FEDEX to find out what are all the ongoing delays and do they need anything more from me. Only twice has the phone been answered. Still, no support from them. I have spoken to the following people via email only, rudy.subaya@fedex.com, innocentia.sithebe@fedex.com. I recieved some responses from Rudy. Nothing from Innocentia - she really did absolutely nothing in terms of support. I will never in my life make use of FEDEX for anything again, I will also tell all my friends that ship items for there business and personal effects about this ongoing terrible experience. DHL = no issues and phones get answered. FEDEX South Africa is an example of what a courier company should not be. Client Support is not part of FEDEX South Africa's service deliverables.
Our Wireless internet in West Acres, Nelspruit. The internet line is highly variable, the 4mb download line one pays for is rarely attained. Mostly we only get a kb rating if we do a line speed test. Its more luck of the draw as in if the line will work. We have been highlighting this to the Bulldog for nearly 3 months, they dont call back or adress the issue. They are however very attentive in sending you request for monthly payments.
