As per the other complainant, back in June 2024 I paid a 70% deposit to Herman Steyn of Highveld Solar Solutions. To cut a long story short, after repeated excuses and a letter of demand, of the installation only the solar panels were supp**** and installed Nov 2024, Herman then kept the rest the deposit, +/- R70k. I've handed him over to a debt collection company. Please contact me if you would like further information.
After 20 years with Vodacom I will be porting my numbers and accounts to MTN. I have been a VIP customer with Vodacom for over 20 years. A contract recently came to an end and without authorisation they just increased the monthly subscription by over 50%. In addition I recently had a problem with the purchase of data that was paid for but not added and it took over a week to resolve, with them wanting me to furnish a bank statement for them to resolve it. In summary I agree with the sentiments of the other customers, terrible to non existent customer service and a strong focus on finding ways to extract additional money from customers, both new and long term.
