Claim approved on the 23rd October 2023, I've been waiting for my vehicle ever since (today being the 8th December) with no feedback being given to me as their client, with constant calls and visits to their premises. After returning the courtesy car on November 14th, I contacted the panelbeaters to inquire about the repairs. They mentioned that they were waiting for the arrival of parts. I waited a week before reaching out again, only to receive the same response. Despite visiting their premises in person, I encountered the same explanation of parts being delayed without any clarification. On November 18th, I spoke to an employee at the panelbeaters and requested information from their parts department regarding the delay. Unfortunately, I did not receive any feedback. Subsequently, on November 24th, I contacted FNB Short-term Insurance to raise a complaint about the claim and the panelbeaters. Despite the assurances of a follow-up, I never received any feedback from the panelbeaters. Some parts had arrived after contacting the panelbeaters. I made subsequent calls on November 29th and 30th, leaving messages each time, but received no updates or explanations for the delay. When I called again on December 1st, I was informed that they are still waiting for the fender liner and have now requested an additional part, a headlight washer. I am reaching out for assistance as the situation has left me frustration. I do not wish to create disruptions or leave negative reviews, but the lack of communication and prolonged delay, now approaching two months, is unacceptable. The parts are sourced locally, and the unexplained delays are causing significant inconvenience. I request proper customer service, including timely updates on the progress, even if the required parts are not yet available. As December progresses, and with the impending closure for the holidays, it is crucial to have my vehicle returned promptly. I just recently called, and there's no one to assist the receptionists says the lady is out, the parts department isn't at their desk and will get them to contact me, and they'll never do that. This is the pits with their service to clients. If management doesn't take the initiative, it'll get worse, and I'll never recommend them to anyone, especially my insurance company, ever again.
