Nelspruit branch: Found on the internet one night when searching for speed queen washing machine repairs. They returned my query early the next working day. Their call out/assessment fee was reasonable. Their technicians arrived less than an hour after I had paid the fee. The admin lady Nothando was efficient, professional, and friendly. The two technicians app**** their professional knowledge to give me an immediate opinion. They also gave valuable advice regarding my speedqueen tumbledrier while here. Can definitely recommend!
Mattress Warehouse in Mpumalanga - salesman = Godfrey Mhlanga. We were welcomed in, and treated like we were the only people there. No hurry at all, took our time, lay on beds..... Godfrey guided us to the mattress that he felt would suit us best. He then showed us others, but he was right - we bought the 1st one that he had shown us. Delivery was on time and efficient - AND they removed our old mattress for us as well. Fantastic experience.
Wish I'd checked here first..... ordered, now the product is out of stock, but they'll refund me if I send them my bank details! Sounds so scammy.... not sure I want to give them my bank details, so I may just have to cut my losses (around R1200) and move on :(
Second time we've dealt with Legend, once in the Western Cape, and now for a Gauteng to Mpumalanga move. The online quote experience was simple - some of the companies I was trying to get quotes from were so complicated that I felt overwhelmed. Michael made it as easy as possible. His quote came in at half of the Pickfords one (which was also very professional - an agent actually came to my house to assess the move). For that amount of savings, we figured it was worth taking a "chance" on Legend, especially given that we had had a good experience before. The staff arrived about an hour later than expected, which was okay, considering that they had had to come to Jhb from Pretoria in terrible rainy conditions. They had followed all my instructions regarding how to best access our home. They had the necessary tools for the dismantling I had requested, and they were also familiar with the special wrapping requirements that I had requested. They packed efficiently, and set off, still in the rain. They were prepared to deliver that same night in Mbombela, but we were not prepared for a night unload. So they advised that they could rather meet us at 7am the next morning outside our new complex. They arrived 10 minutes early! Again, it was raining, and the outside of our new unit was still a building site (mud!). Joseph and his team brought everything in with the minimum of dirt, did the necessary assembling/installing and were gone within 3 hours. Nothing was broken or damaged in transit, despite poor loading/driving/unloading conditions. I would have no hesitation in calling Legend again if I should need a removal company.
Friday 31/8 around noon, I called Wellies as my fridge wasn't cold, even though the motor was running. Within 15 minutes I was called by Francis who promised he'd be around that same afternoon. He gave me full details on the phone regarding call-out fee, payment, etc, and said he'd contact me 20 minutes before he got here. He did indeed contact me later to say he was on his way, and arrived on time. He then explained that he needed to flush the system and then re-gas, and it would cost R1450. I told him to go ahead. When he was done, he explained that the compressor was hot from running without gas, and I should leave the fridge off for an hour, and then switch on. He said the work was guaranteed for 6 months. I paid him in cash and he said he'd email me a receipt. I waited an hour, then turned the fridge on and went out. Four hours later I came home to a fridge that was still warm, and a horrible smell of gas. I sent Francis a message advising him Nd he messaged back assuring me that the gas was completely safe and not flammable. I said I'd call him the next day about the warm fridge. Saturday I tried calling him but there was no answer. I left the fridge on - After all, it was now fully gassed. On Sunday I smelled the gas again, and then the motor stopped. Sunday evening I messaged Wellies on their site asking for help. Monday morning I called them, and a man said he just got my message and they would get back to me. I messaged them during the day on Monday asking either for help or for my money back by 6pm. It's now Tuesday 9am. And I have not heard another word from them.
