I have been with Ignite Fitnes (Menlyn) for almost 4 years and despite the loyalty and how many referrals I have sent their way they continue to treat me like dirt. I had an issue with freezing my account, that resulted in me having to pay about R2000 for something that could've been avoided if they did their job. Now, they sent us an email that the Menlyn branch will be closing and that our memberships will end on the 31/08, a few months ago when they temporarily closed they allowed for us to either share a certificate with a friend or opt to keep the cert which is basically a one month free certificate. I emailed multiple people, telling them that I would like to use my certificate now since this is the last month at the gym but NO ONE, has responded to emails (it has been over 2 weeks now). I am not asking for too much, I am just asking for my certificate to be recognized and for my R349 to be refunded.
I bought a bed from Sleepmasters Menlyn in December, I am not to knowledgeable when it comes to beds so I went there the sales guy was very nice, he recommended a bed to me, I paid for it and it was delivered the same week, however when the bed arrived I noticed that it seemed very light, a little touch and the mattress shifts, so I went to the store (before the 14 days had lapsed) to see if I could return the bed and rather get a more solid one from another store, the manager told me that I could not return it however they can recommend another bed and replace the current bed and all I have to do is pay the difference plus the delivery. She told me that she would call me once the new bed arrives so that I can come and see it and pay, a week passed and I followed up with her but she said that it was still not there and that she would call me. It’s been 2 months now and I am sleeping on a very uncomfortable bed that’s caving in. I will never buy a bed from them again. To this day no one has said a word to me. Fast forward a couple months later and no one seems keen to sort my issue out, received the worst customer service from Tshepang, she had the audacity to comment on my weight and compare it to her, that time she probably weighs way more then me. Shout-out to the guy that tried to help that day and showed me other options. ATP I don’t even want a new bed from SM I will purchase a new one from a different store that’s much better quality than the one I received from SM.
I’ve been with Ignite for 3 years now, and I’m sad it’s come to this, they’re gym aesthetic and environment is the best, but their customer service is the absolute worst, they don’t care about their members at all!

So Planet Fitness states they will give you a credit on your account (depending in which gym you're at i.e Planet Fitness or Just Gym) id you refer a friend to the join, I did that back in March and to this day I haven't received my credit. I've called customer service they directed ti the ckub, I went ti the ckun they directed me to customer service, I phoned the club and they keep taking my details and tell me they wil get back to me, it's be almost 2 or 3 weeks now. Today I was debited R416 from my bank account and on my debit order date I was debited my normal rate, why am I debited twice in one month, and why are they refusing to give ne my credit. Planet Fitness Lynnwood this is seriously no longer funny
So it has come to my attention that there has been a n attempt to deduct R109 from my account under the name "EDO COLLECTION ATTEMPT'' I do not have any debit orders so I do not understand what this is all about? I have noticed that I am not the only one. Please help
