I used to buy all my dogs stuff from here. Until recently got a bad batch of Dog Food (Montego). I brought the incident to the attention of those in store, they were to speak to management etc...I've not received any feedback from them or Montego who they are passing the responsibility to. This happened 2 months ago. (I gave them enough time before writing this review. Since the initial report I've been back to the store 5 times each time talking to someone different who can only pass on messages instead of help. My logic is, they took my money they should refund me, i should not be waiting for Calls or emails from Montego.
The start of my relationship was met with poor service delivery and false advertising. I switched over to FNB in July of this year (Part of the reason that made me come over was a campaign that FNB was running, which i learned was called the eB5 campaign). The online process is made to seem quick and simple and i felt it was not so . FNB also advertised that if you switched over to FNB and opened a Gold account you would 'trial run' eBucks level 5 for 2 months and each additional product you take out with them you get an additional 2 months , up to 6 months total. To begin i registered online , uploaded my documents , transferred money and was given an account number . Which is was unable to use (because documents were 'missing') , after calling to find out why, I was told that my account can only be used after the driver who drops off my card would collect my documents ( annoying because they had been uploaded already). When the driver collected my documents he told me he doesn't know how long the activation will take , eventually tired of waiting and in need of doing my banking i took documents into a branch just to speed up the process. This was not my biggest issue with the switch however. Once my account was active , I had called to find out about my level 5 ebucks status which was promised on the FNB website (because my account status at the time was 'do not qualify for ebucks'). The first person i spoke to did not even hear about such campaign. i had called numerous departments from 'new account sales' to 'Gold account' to 'eBucks' . Each with a different story each telling me to speak to another department . 'Accounts' saying its an 'eBucks' issue, 'eBucks' saying 'Accounts' is responsible (at this stage is when i learnt the name of the campaign was eB5). I had been given so many different call center numbers and all sorts departments to speak to with no help, ended up also speaking to the 'Fulfillment' department, who i was told can sort the issue, with no resolve . I went into a branch out of frustration to see what they would do, one of the consultants emailed somebody from eBucks to find out what is going on , and informed me that it would be active from The August review of eBucks which they do between the 8th-12th of the month. So i waited... Come August I was ebucks level 1. Annoyed at FNB's staff inability to successfully help or even know whats going on I found my way to a complaints page on FNB. Where i wrote about the issue. I was soon contacted via Mobile by a consultant who told me the issue was being escalated (i assumed because of the complaint) . He assured me that he would have an answer in 2 days. A day later he called me and told me the issue is sorted and that from the 1st of September I would finally be on the eBucks level 5 i was promised (i have the references for both calls). The 1st of September arrives and nothing changes but I don't stress it because I figure that probably it may only update on the 8th-12th of the month when eBucks does their review . So i wait again ... on the 12th the eBucks thing is updated and still no level 5 eBucks. So i call the Ebucks department the same day to find out why , the person was unable to assist because he does not know what the last person who called me told me. He said he will investigate/escalate the matter and get back with me by the end of the work day. He has still not gotten back to me up until the time that this review is posted (i have the reference for this call also). Reality is , I do not need that little difference in eBucks , It is barely changing anyone's life .It is the principle of the matter that kept me calling back . . My issue is that FNB has got me with false advertising and got away with it, which is unacceptable. You cannot have promotions and campaigns that get people to switch over to your bank and then do not deliver on those things which you advertised. Anyway, checking on their website they have removed that eBucks campaign from their accounts page (from this month, last month it was still there) . That is probably going to be your excuse 'unfortunately the campaign doesn't exist anymore'. Just because I've reached a point of not caring to deal with a consultant again i am posting this review of my switch to FNB here.
