I would like to log a complaint about Johannesburg Water Department. Every 3 days at no 1477 Molefi Street Old Dobsonville we are faced with a sewerage blocking. On Christmas day when people were celebrating, I had to sweep in our yard all kinds of stools, plastics, diapers, tissues and all the kinds of filth that a person can think of. Like I say it happens every 3 days that's the kind of life we're facing. I have Ref numbers with regards to that and I asked them to find the fault and resolve the problem once and for all. Today now the sewerage is in the kitchen. We can't live like this, this is totally unhealthy and when you try to make a call to their Call Center to report the fault you get a response only after after 4 hours and they so unprofessional. I just want to be helped in order to live In a healthy environment & foe them to come and resolve the problem once and for all. I don't want to see my family ever to be faced with such a problem ever again.
We as the community of Old Dobsonville transformer number 1914 has been withhout electricity since end September 2024. The fault was reported and they sent technicians to attend to the fault we were told the fault was with the burnt fuses which we were promised by the Eskom Zola Hub Supervisor that would be replaced by the 8th November 2024. After that the community were told to pay fines because most of them were not paying for the services. The community comp**** and they were promised that the electricity will be restored by Christmas day of which it didn't happen. Up to now we're without electricity and nothing has been communicated to us up until today. In that community we have 3 people who are on wheel chairs, and some of them depend on Oxygen.
On the 2nd of December, I sent my review about Dstv ( Multichoice) which was not satisfactory. They sent the company Focal Point to come & fix my problem thereafter, I wanted to wait & monitor if the problem is resolved but to no avail. I don't totally receive the service of the R599 I'm paying for. Both decoders are not working. They still freeze all the time and its very much frustrating. The worst part is the second decoder not updating anything. I called them again on the 31st December 2024 to let them know that the problem still continues, they promised to send a different company to come and look at the problem but up to now I haven't heard anything from them. I must just continue to pay for the service I'm not getting from them. They just don't care about their customers all what they want is money from us.
They called me on the 13th of November 2024 to market their product, which we agreed upon. They came to intaĺl the decoder o the 16th November & every thing went wrong since then. I can't watch anything or record on the 2 decoders any more. I called them from the 18th November to complain about the problem that I'm facing, they always tell me that they'll send a technician to come & fix the installation but to no avail up until now. They don't even call their customers, you're the one who must call them & they make you wait until your airtime gets finished.
I went to an Edgars store at Westgate to pay my account and there was a lady in the shop who approached me and asked me if i have an insurance with Edgars and she would check for me if I had a beneficiary on my Personal Funeral Plan. She then told me I didn't have anybody added as a beneficiary, and she wanted to help me add one for me. The next thing I see more charges on my account with a new insurance that I didn't opt for. I wrote an Email to Edgars customer Services explaining to them what had happened and asked them to please cancel and reverse the charges. I am told that I could have cancelled within thirty days. How would I have known that I had a new Insurance added on my account if I didn't ask for it, I only realised when a new statement was sent to me with additional charges. Could you please help me with this.
I have been having an account with Edgars for a long time, all of a sudden I a being charged interest without me knowing what for. I have sent several Emails to ask them to credit back the interest as I don't even do purchases on my account the only thing i do is to pay my personal funeral plan premiums and I a being charged interest on that, I don't have any agreement with RCS the agreement I signed was with Edgars I would like all the interest charged on my account to be cancelled and I don't want to see any RCS appearing on my account. No one responds to my Emails to explain to me what is happening . I need help with this regard.
Yesterday on the 6th November I was at Edgars stores to pay my account and enquirerd about the progress about my unresolved query. The manager called the RMTS company again to check why they haven't refunded me. They seem not to be keen to refund me and Edgars is busy putting interest on my account. I have been a loyal Edgars customer for more than thirty years and i have never ever defaulted in the years I have been with them. They now decided to share my account information with the third party which ended me in trouble and now they have blocked my account I am unable to buy using my account. I want Edgars t close my account sine I know that I owe them nothing. The only thing that is debited on my account is the funeral cover and the family provider. I don't care if I forfeit what I have contributed to the covers. Edgars is a bad company and I will never recommend to any body to do business with them. They can take me to their lawyers and I am going to consult with my lawyer today. I am really sick and tired of this. This case has been going on since August.
Edgars collections department has been harassing me with calls, Emails and SMS even though I queried with them them the money that was debited on my account without my consent. The company RMS that they gave my account details to, promised to retrieve the conversation when I rejected their offer of their promotion and make a reversal hasn't done that. Please help me in solving this problem, so that I can have my peace of mind. They always promise to resolve the matter but nothing has been don. Thanks
Please help me sort out the problem that I am being forced by Edgars to pay money that I don't owe for Data and SMS bundles. Even though I logged a complain about this. I keep on getting Emails and SMS daily to pay the money. They always respond that they will reverse but nothing like that is happening. Please please help me.
I logged my complain with you about Edgars in August about Data and SMS bundles I didn' sign up for. I was promised that the matter will be resolved within 48 hours. Only to find out that the Bundles were cancelled but the amount for the bundles is not reversed. i cannot be forced to pay for something i didn't buy, and I received an Email forcing me to pay the money. I refuse to pay the money for things I did not sign up for that is defrauding me, interest was added on the amount and i am not going to pay any cent. My account was always up to date and I don't skip any payments and i always pay on time. Now Edgars want to riun my name
